The three words had Gu Mohan almost apoplectic with rage, he didn't care about the consequences, he wanted to just strangle Tang Mo'er to death.

The atmosphere in the bathroom had gotten tense.

A maid asked from outside, ”Elder Miss, Elder Miss, are you there?”

The maid was standing outside the bathroom.

Tang Mo'er quickly shouted, ”I'm heーMmmh!”

Gu Mohan had covered her mouth, preventing her from uttering a word. He held her tightly in his arms, staring at her angrily as he threatened in a low voice, ”Stop shouting!”

Tang Mo'er opened her mouth and bit down on the back of his hand.

Gu Mohan had quickly let go of her after letting out a sound because of the pain.

He looked downwards and spotted a bite mark on the back of his hand.

Tang Mo'er tidied up her appearance and prepared to step out of the bathroom.

But when she was at the door, she turned around and her gaze trailed down, landing on his trousers. Her lips formed a meaningful smirk. ”Little d*ck.”

After saying that, she opened the bathroom door and stepped out.

What did she just say?

Was he just scorned by her, regarding his size?!

Gu Mohan cursed in his heart as he stood in front of the bathroom counter and kicked the bin beside him to vent his frustrations.

It made a loud sound as it crashed against the floor.

That damn woman, she had caused an upheaval in his life!

He was hell bent on taking revenge and paying her for this humiliation.

In the study room.

Gu Mohan had a sullen expression on his face, appearing like someone had owed him hundreds of millions in dollars. He looked at Lu Jinwen with no expression. ”Uncle Jin, Mr John is currently at the hotel he's staying in. He's not willing to meet me and doesn't want to give me an opportunity to explain myself. He'll be flying back to Switzerland on his private jet tomorrow and after he leaves, there will no longer be any chance for me to salvage the situation. Since you're a longtime friend of Mr John's, could you please help me set up a meeting with him?”

Lu Jinwen remained impassive, he wasn't persuaded. He replied, ”Mr John already anticipated that you would come to me for help and he hasn't been picking up my phone calls. Mr John seems determined to end the working relationship with DHA Diamonds.”

Gu Mohan felt the faint stirrings of hopelessness hit him. ”Uncle Jin, there's really nothing else you can do?”

Lu Jinwen shook his head while lamenting, ”If only… she was still here. Mr John would never choose to terminate the contract.”

He was talking about Lin Xuanji.

She was a longtime friend of Mr John's.

But it was such a shame, she wasn't there to help.

”Uncle Jin, since it's like that, I'll take my leave then.” Gu Mohan got up and prepared to leave.

”Okay.” Lu Jinwen nodded his head, glancing at the back of Gu Mohan's hand. He asked, ”What happened to your hand?”

Gu Mohan looked at the bite marks on the back of his hand and answered nonchalantly, ”I got bitten by a puppy.”

Lu Jinwen arched an eyebrow, replying playfully, ”In order to not land yourself in that situation again, President Gu, you shouldn't provoke that puppy again.”

Gu Mohan snorted and glanced at Lu Jinwen with narrowed eyes.

Lu Jinwen reciprocated and laughed at him.

The atmosphere in the study room was getting more intense.

Someone was knocking on the door, a delicate voice was heard, ”May I enter?”

It was Tang Mo'er.
