390 Let Me Propose to You (1/2)
Louis Hills was like a crystal palace. It was extremely beautiful, as if one was living in a fairytale.
The VIPs gathered, shuttling around the banquet hall, chatting and exchanging gossip. They had no idea that Lu Qi'er was missing.
At this moment, the melodious wedding march sounded. A handsome figure appeared on the red carpet. It was Gu Mohan.
”Look, the wedding is starting!” The murmuring commotion quietened down instantaneously. Everyone shifted their attention onto the red carpet.
On the other end of the red carpet stood a delicate figure.
Everyone sucked in deep breaths, their eyes wide and stunned. They could not believe who they saw.
Tang Mo'er?
It was Tang Mo'er!
In recent times, Tang Mo'er and Gu Mohan had created a hive of criticism directed towards their coupling. To think that Tang Mo'er would actually turn up at his wedding! Everyone rushed up and stuck their heads out, wondering what had happened.
Tang Mo'er was so confused. She had no idea what was happening or where she was. The moment she got off the car, someone had brought her here.
She couldn't see a thing, yet all of her other senses were in overdrive,
Dang dang dang dang dang…
The wedding march…? Was she at the wedding venue?
She wanted to leave, however she didn't know how to. How could she escape this chaos?
Gu Mohan spotted Tang Mo'er amongst the crowd, he had fixed his deep and narrow gaze on Tang Mo'er. She was dressed in the flowing wedding gown he had chosen for her, her delicate skin smooth as the skin of a baby lamb. The dress hugged her body tightly, accentuating her slim waist while the lacy ends of her bridal gown made soft waves through the air. She resembled a goddess who had descended from the heavens and fallen into the world of mortals.
Such a beautiful sight would forever be etched in his heart.
He walked forward towards her slowly before stopping in front of her.
Tang Mo'er stopped in her tracks as she could sense someone near her. Her voice was hesitant as she asked softly, ”May I ask where am I?”
”You're at my wedding.”
The familiar, deep voice rang in her ears, causing her to freeze.
It was Gu Mohan.
”Ah!” she screamed, her eyelashes fluttering as she immediately used her delicate hands to cover her eyes.
She did not want him to see.
She did not want him to see her blind.
At this moment, a big palm stretched over and grabbed her hand, pulling them from her face. ”Mo'er, I already know about it.”
He… knew about it already?
”I know, I know everything, I know why you wanted to hide, I know why you insisted on breaking up, I know that you used Jun Chulin as your shield. That very night when you came to find me, you even got into a car accident. Mo'er, I'm sorry.”
His tender voice carried some distress and his old gentleness. Tears welled up Tang Mo'er's eyes. Although she was scared, her decision to leave this place meant that she would face loneliness and death alone in a calm manner.
However, hearing his distressed and reproachful voice broke her heart.
What could she do?
