The deep voice that came out from Gu Mohan sounded estranged and full of displeasure.

Tang Mo'er lifted her head up and stared at him with her bright and clear eyes. ”I pretended that I was sleeping and secretly escaped from the house and the maids didn't notice. I even got Shiyu to drive over and pick me up. Mr Gu, Mr Gu, aren't I smart?”

Gu Mohan looked at her pleased expression, she was indeed smiling, but her face was extremely pale, to the point there was no longer any color.

Pursing his lips into a grimace, he scanned the entire room with his eagle-like sharp eyes. By now, everyone had crowded around and all the attention was focused entirely on them. Many women were taking out their cell phones and taking videos of them. Tang Mo'er was a celebrity under the public eye and once this hot news was uploaded online, it would easily reach a hundred million views in the blink of an eye.

But as soon as the women made eye contact with Gu Mohan's fierce and threatening eyes, their hands shivered and they didn't dare to continue.

Gu Mohan's gaze landed on Tang Mo'er's face, ”Go home, you shouldn't be here.”

”Mr Gu, I've suddenly recalled something. Last night, you gave me a diamond ring, but you didn't propose to me. This is similar to a relationship without the intention to get married. It's something only a gangster would do, and so Mr Gu, won't you do the right thing and propose to me now?”

Gu Mohan instantly raised his eyebrows and his handsome facial features were tense and stiff. He didn't speak.

When he didn't respond, Tang Mo'er blinked and smiled. ”Hmm, if that's the case, it's fine too, Mr Gu. I guess I'll propose to you then. Gu Mohan, be my man. I promise to maintain my beauty and earn money to build our family. I won't allow anyone to bully you, and so, will you marry me?”

The entire crowd gasped, oh gosh, Tang Mo'er was proposing to Gu Mohan?!

So brazen!

So daring!

Gu Mohan frowned, he seemed to have lost all patience and he berated her harshly, ”Miss Tang, how have you been brought up? How can a woman propose to aー”

He didn't manage to utter the last word as Tang Mo'er ran closer and threw her arms around his neck, before she tiptoed and kissed him on the lips.
