179 That Little One Was Constantly Giving Him Pleasant Surprises (1/2)
Right after she spoke, the entire crowd was shocked into silence.
Yan Dong stood upstairs and asked Gu Mohan in a puzzled manner, ”President, what does Miss Tang have in mind? Didn't she head downstairs to confront Qin Yawen in person?”
Gu Mohan placed both hands in his trouser pocket as he took in the scene down below. Once he realized her true intention, the corners of his lips quirked up. This little one was constantly giving him pleasant surprises.
Qin Yawen froze, her forehead furrowed into an unconscious frown. What was Tang Mo'er talking about?
The reporters were equally perplexed and their mouths opened with a flood with questions—-
”Tang Mo'er, so you're denying the rumors that Han Dong attempted to rape you?”
”We don't believe you, do you have any evidence to support your claim?”
”Evidence?” Tang Mo'er sneered and let go of Qin Yawen, giving the reporter a cold stare. ”Don't you find your question somewhat ridiculous? I didn't even ask you for supporting evidence when you slandered me, and now you're asking me to prove my innocence? Indeed, who started the rumors that Han Dong attempted to rape me in the first place? Did you ask for evidence? Did any of you witness it in person? Since I have a clear conscience, I wasn't going to care about the rumors circulating around on the internet. However, the rumors have greatly impacted my personal life and also my family. From now on, if anyone dares to accuse me of being raped by Han Dong, I will sue them for defamation. Just wait to hear from my lawyer! I'm going to combat this ridiculous cyber bullying!”
Tang Mo'er wore a long black dress that day, and she seemed cooler and more mature than ever. Just looking at her, her firm stance was understood by the crowd and the reporters whom she had eye contact with were lowering their heads, not daring to meet her steady gaze.
That was a logical plan, nobody would ever find out exactly who Han Dong had attempted to rape. There were only a handful of people who knew the truth, and with Gu Mohan controlling them, the news would never be leaked.
Qin Yawen's face darkened, she had already guessed Tang Mo'er's intentions when she arrived and she was inwardly mocking Tang Mo'er for her superfluous actions. If Tang Mo'er were to confront her in public, she would be able to destroy Tang Mo'er's image and Tang Mo'er wouldn't be able to escape from her clutches, Tang Mo'er was on her deathbed, however, she didn't expect Tang Mo'er to devise another strategy instead.
To think she would try to cover up the truth, denying that Han Dong had attempted to rape her.
