141 F*ck, Tang Moser, What Did You Just Do? (1/2)
”Bam bam bam”, a hammering of fists pounded against the door, reverberating in her ears, Tang Mo'er's pupils contracted as she sat on the carpet, wanting to block it all out. Rocking back and forward, she subconsciously held herself tightly in her arms, eyes blank as she was brought back vividly to a scene in the depths of her mind—
A 5-year-old girl held on to a ragged doll as she played in the living room, the owner of the doll was her younger sister but she eventually got sick of it and threw it in the bin. The girl had picked it up from the bin.
It was truly lonely. She was only a little girl of five years and was isolated by the entire world.
Picking up the ragged doll, she hugged it in her thin arms.
Without warning, the apartment door opened, a drunken man walked in and the girl shivered, calling him 'Uncle' as her voice trembled in fear.
The Uncle looked strangely at the girl, with her soft, fair skin, before pulling her up to sit on his lap. With practised ease, he lifted her skirt, fingers rough and invasive as he touched her legs, inching up towards her underwear.
The little girl was terrified, she bit the Uncle and raced back to her room. She locked the room door, but the drunken uncle refused to give up, he chased over while pounding his hands against her room door.
The room was dark and the little girl was shaking out in fear. She was afraid of the monstrous Uncle. She was afraid that he would break through the door and come in. The fear and wallowing darkness swallowed her up like a demon and became one of her biggest nightmares.
It took a long time before the pounding on the door finally stopped. It looked like that piece of garbage had finally left. Crawling across the carpet, Tang Mo'er fumbled her way in the darkness before she finally reached the door. Once she reached it, she pulled it open and stumbled out.
…
Along the corridor, Tang Mo'er ran with all her might. Finally, she arrived in front of the VIP presidential suite, leaning down to catch her breath. Gu Mohan's room was inside. She needed to see him.
Instead, she saw a familiar figure by the entrance. It was Huo Beichen, his body pressed against an innocent-looking woman with long flowy hair, against the opposite wall.
Tang Mo'er knew of the woman, she was a popular social media influencer named Zhou Li.
