104 I Need 20 Million Dollars (1/2)
Qin Yawen had actually gone to see Su Yan in secret before. She needed to know what kind of person Tang Hai had chosen, after her. Su Yan was inferior in many ways, whether it was her looks, figure or aura. However, she was a virtuous housewife who behaved in a gentle and caring way. Her husband was her number one priority in life.
It was obvious that Su Yan wasn't Tang Hai's most loved woman, but rather, the woman who would be together with him for a lifetime.

Han Xiaowan wanted to say something else but Qin Yawen had already hung up the call. She frowned after hearing the 'du… du…' sound and felt something was wrong. Her mom didn't seem concerned with her for some reason.
Her phone then rang again, it was an incoming call from Su Shuiqin.
Han Xiaowan's face contorted into one of disgust, Su Shuiqin was merely a pawn. The woman was an arrogant and greedy woman who never knew when to stop, even after receiving many benefits.
”Hello, Shuiqin, what's the matter? Why are you calling at such a late hour?”
”Xiaowan, you've got to save me!” Su Shuiqin voice was desperate as she begged her on the other end of the call. She pleaded while sobbing, ”I need money, 20 million dollars. Xiaowan, hurry and wire transfer me 20 million dollars, I need it to save my life!”
20 million dollars?
Han Xiaowan almost jumped after hearing her words, how was she going to be able to gather 20 million dollars? Did Su Shuiqin think she was a cash making machine? ”Shuiqin, why do you need so much money?”
”Xiaowan, the two men in black escaped from Gu Mohan. They're holding me captive in an alley and they are extorting me. They won't let me go unless I give them the money. Xiaowan, help me. I'm really scared. You're the mastermind behind all of this. You asked me to get someone who would drag Tang Mo'er away from the engagement ceremony and rape her. I was merely receiving your orders, you have to save me!”
Han Xiaowan's expression changed, the two men had escaped?
She was expecting the two men to be dead since Gu Mohan had taken them away. After hearing about their escape, she was relieved that Su Shuiqin was her middleman and that she never had any contact with them.
20 million dollars was a huge sum of money. She didn't have such money and even if she did, there was no way she would give it up for Su Shuiqin. She needed to get herself out of this mess. ”Shuiqin, what are you saying? I've got a bad signal here, I'll hang up first.”
