“Are you feeling lost?” Chief Hua pointed at a futon nearby, signaling Mo Fan to take a seat.

“Mankind has gone through disasters like this before, throughout the long history of fighting demon creatures, but we have survived until now. There are times of peace and times of darkness. Everything will be fine once we get over it,” Chief Hua told me.

“I just talked to the Councilman’s secretary on the phone. He asked me to see you. I don’t understand what he meant,” Mo Fan had to say.

I also arranged for you to meet Shao Zheng and look for the Totem Beasts. After you killed Lu Yilin and provoked the Lu Clan, it was I who called the Lu Clan’s old man,” Chief Hua informed him.

Someone did mention that a big shot was looking after him. He had always thought it was Shao Zheng.
