Chapter 610 - Algernon Divine Branch (1/2)
The youth with a pair of wings on his back was quite swift, and he quickly reached the crowd along with a large group of guards. He had husky men in heavy armor, archers holding longbows, as well as spellcasters holding a Magic Staff. Most of them had a High-Level Deity's power, and there were many people with an apex High-Level Deity's power among them. There were also several guards whose bodies had obscure Energy Ripples, and they were unfathomable.
What surprised the crowd was that almost half of the numerous guards had a tall stature and were pretty women with long legs. They either wore miniskirts that couldn't be any shorter, or gowns with an open front. Each one was s.e.xier and more mesmerizing than the other.
They didn't seem like Wanderers or guards. Instead, they seemed like s.l.u.tty women on an outing. After they came here, they managed to quickly attract the gazes of the numerous Wanderers. The emotions of people who had traveled outside for many years and hadn't touched women for a long time were stirred up by this. They were surprised by this, and they envied the youngster that was the leader of this group.
Other people were all scared and on the edge upon entering the Graveyard of Gods and Devils, and they were worried that they might run into a powerful Divine Beast or Demon. They were all fretting over where they could get several treasures, while the winged youth had unexpectedly brought him a large group of pretty female guards. Nothing was better than this!
There was great disparity!
There were many people with good familial circ.u.mstances that had some influence in their hometown, and there were many young and talented people among them. But, after they compared themselves to the winged youth, they understood what was a truly spoiled brat.
It seemed like this matter was more troublesome than they imagined!
When the black-robed old man, Wilcox, and Richardson saw the large group of guards behind the youth, they quickly exchanged a glance. They were deeply worried, and even a fool would understand that this guy came from a great faction upon seeing his large group. They had run, by mistake, into a great faction--an extraordinary, great faction.
Scott was already quite powerful, yet he still wasn't at the same level as the several personal guards behind the youth.
Swoosh!
The youth folded his silver wings and landed there slowly like an angel. His expression was ice-cold, and his gaze was sharp. When he saw the bald man's badly mangled chest, he furrowed his brows and said calmly, ”Scott, what is the matter?”
”Young master, I had found a suspicious guy, but he wasn't willing to divulge where is the object even at death's door. Later, an Elf came out to defend this suspicious guy. I suspect that they are accomplices.” When Scott faced the youth, who wore an ice-cold expression, he acted carefully, like a mouse that had sighted upon a cat. ”I planned to take them both with me to make an investigation and get back the stolen object, but I didn't expect that this group of people opposite me would obstruct me by force.”
”Huh… accomplices?”
When the youth saw the Chief Elven Priestess that held a Magic Staff, his eyes lit up. He traveled outside for so many years and had seen all kinds of women, but women such as the Chief Elven Priestess were still rarely seen.
The Chief Elven Priestess's long hair fluttered in the wind, and she wore a long, white robe that made her skin seem more snow-white and tender. She also had a unique, green belt around her waist that conformed to her graceful air and it made her thin waist seem more eye-catching. Beautiful curves were hidden behind her large robe!
The youth was sick of looking at women's bare thighs and fair chest, and the Chief Elven Priestess's clothing was a pleasant change to him.
”Is it a noble and beautiful Elf?”
The Chief Elven Priestess seemed like a fairy, who didn't belong to the mortal world. She had an outstanding demeanor. The more the youth observed her, the more he liked her.
”Good. Pretty good. Scott, come over and recount this matter in detail,” the youth looked at the mangled wound on the bald man's chest and instructed him calmly.
At first, the youth was quite angry, because he looked for the Dragon Head Ring he lost for a long time, yet he still couldn't find it. He planned to severely punish the bald man who didn't guard it well. But, after he saw the beautiful Chief Elven Priestess and the bald man that fawned over her, most of his anger disappeared.
The youth was good at discerning people's thoughts through their body language. He looked at the husky, dying man in black armor before he looked at the mesmerizing Chief Elven Priestess near him. He rolled his eyes and managed to quickly discern the bald man's intentions.
None knew the character of his personal guard, Scott, more clearly than him, and he knew that he was trying to make up for his mistake with a great contribution. He managed to quickly understand the whole sequence of events after hearing a few words.
