The only person who stood up for Anhao when the Gu family had refused to adopt her was her second uncle.

But now, he was pointing at her in distress. “Anhao, you were such a pitiful young child. Five years ago, your dad was willing to bring you home, but I’m sure he had no plans on adopting a shameless crazy girl like you! You have brought shame upon the Gu family! ”

Gu Shishi chimed in with her uncle by her side, “Uncle, I saw Gu Anhao and a man being all lovey-dovey by the roadside last night. I knew that she had to be up to something disgusting out there, and now I finally caught her red-handed!”

“You haven’t even graduated from high school, and yet you are hanging out with these social miscreants all day long! Such an embarrassment!”

“No way the Gu family would have a child like you… I shouldn’t have let Tianming fetch you back home! You’re the mayor’s daughter after all, how could you be so shameless?!”

Gu Shishi interjected, “Did you think that my dad really wanted to bring her back home? As if it was not enough that her shameless mother seduced my dad, she even secretly gave birth to such a daughter. My dad didn’t even plan to acknowledge her in the first place!”

“Gu Anhao wouldn’t have entered this place if it weren’t for her mother running to the Gu residence and making a commotion before finally dying by the stairs, practically using her death to force us to adopt this illegitimate girl!”

Anhao was used to hearing these excruciatingly harsh words, and she did not look hurt by those words.

Due to her own mistake of drinking too much, she actually believed Gu Shishi and all her nonsense, putting herself in this situation by walking into that bar.

Luckily, she drank too much wine before going to the bar, causing her to be unable to stomach anything else for a while. She threw up not long after drinking that glass of fruit juice so the effects of those drugs were not that strong.

However, Anhao then thought of Gu Shishi using such a despicable and conscienceless method to kick her out of the Gu residence!

Did she plan to use the effects of the drugs to make her sleep with some random man out there? Or perhaps she had even arranged for someone to force her to get laid.

Whereas what was unfolding right now was Gu Shishi’s plan set in motion, intending to completely kick Gu Anhao out of the Gu residence in front of the Gu family today!

Before this, Anhao had never thought that anyone would be this horrible.

Even during the annual Spring Festival when she could only eat leftovers instead of hot dumplings and Tang Yuan!

Even when she was discriminated against by those people. Whenever she returned to the Gu residence, Madam Gu would look at her with contempt and disdain.

Even when the clothes Gu Shishi had gotten tired of wearing which would be stored away in an old bag before being thrown away instead of allowing Anhao to get a little “benefit”!

Even when both Madam Gu and Gu Shishi beat her up countless times for the past two years, the countless injuries she had sustained…

“Uncles, look at her! Not even a single explanation coming out of her! That disgusting man who slept with her must still be hiding here!”

Suddenly, Gu Shishi went toward her and was about to shove Anhao who was standing in front of the door. However, she was unable to push her as Anhao was standing there firmly. Enraged, she lifted her hand and wanted to slap Gu Anhao in the face.

Anhao blocked her hand and pushed her away. “Gu Shishi! We both know what is true and what is not so spare me your despicable tactics!”

Upon seeing Gu Shishi being pushed and staggering backward, Madam Gu hurriedly went forward to support her daughter while cursing in retaliation, “How dare you? We fed you, we gave you clothes to wear, we raised you! This is completely unreasonable!”

Anhao scoffed, knowing that Gu Shishi could not be the only one who was behind all of this; Madam Gu must also have conspired with her as well.

Since this was their careful planning, and now the “evidence” was also placed in front of them, Anhao merely laughed with disapproval without even bothering to explain herself. “Try me if you will. If you were to really push me to the point where I would want to attack Gu Shishi, then she would’ve been beaten into a bloody pile of mess by now!”
