Chapter 17

She could actually just take her empty bag and leave right this instance, leave Liujing Residence.

Even if Zuo Hancheng was her husband in name that did not mean that he could restrict her rights and freedom, though he did have the power to do so.

However, Anhao, who rarely acted so obediently, did not insist on going out. She angrily cleared the makeup products from the trash bin and her bag, planning to throw them out.

Seeing that girl irritatedly cleaning up all the mess, while flicking the strands of hair sticking to the side of her face, she seemed extremely annoyed, or maybe she was holding a grudge against herself.

Zuo Hancheng chuckled, he looked back at the kitchen and saw the pots and pans that had not been touched, he then went into the kitchen.

Even though Anhao did not insist on going out, she was fuming at the man that seemed to be a neat freak.

He did not allow her to leave those so-called trash in the house. Since he could not stand the way she lived, why would he leave her at home with such ease?

Until she was so exhausted that her whole body was sore, it finally seemed like she was done doing everything that he had requested. She was now feeling a bit hungry, and planned to fill her stomach with some chips, but when she walked into the bedroom the remaining boxes of chips left on the coffee table were gone.

What had replaced them was the aromatic smell of dishes drifting from the living room, she followed the aroma, and saw Zuo Hancheng taking two dishes out and putting them on the dining table.

“You didn’t eat during the day?” Seeing her standing there in daze, Zuo Hancheng asked placidly.

Anhao was busy taking out the trash just now, she did not realize what Zuo Hancheng was doing, she never would have thought that he would actually cook. Staring at the three dishes and a pot of soup on the table, the fragrance that wafted from the appetizing dishes greatly tempted her, she gulped down saliva and blinked dazedly. “I ate some shrimp snacks, and some chips.”

Zuo Hancheng pulled out a chair beside the dining table, and said faintly, “Wash your hands.”

“Okay…” She was really hungry, and seeing that he meant to invite her to join in on the meal, she knew what she had to do and turned to wash her hands.

She quickly washed her hands, just as she was about to pull out a chair to sit down, his voice sounded again, “Go take the bowls and chopsticks.”

The corner of Anhao’s mouth twitched, since he had already cooked he was still acting like he was the boss!

Seeing the tempting dishes that smelled so aromatic, she kept it in, and attentively ran into the kitchen and brought out two sets of bowls and chopsticks.

Finally, she could sit down and eat. She lifted her chopsticks, picked up a piece of fish and put it in her mouth without any hesitation. She was rather surprised and lifted her eyes, looking at the man in front of her.

“Zuo Hancheng, what is your actual job? How can you cook so well too…”

Zuo Hancheng’s expression did not change at all under Anhao’s gaze that showed a hint of curiosity and adoration, he picked up a piece of vegetable from another dish and put it into her bowl. “You should eat less junk food in the future.”

Anhao ate the piece of vegetable put into her bowl, at the same time, she shot a glance at the empty coffee table, he was the one that threw out those chips.

However, in front of such delicious dishes she could not get angry, she continued eating as she nodded and said, “Oh… I’ll try…”

He could hear that she was merely pacifying him, Zuo Hancheng shot her a cold stare. “I’m not joking.”

Anhao immediately put down her bowl, and picked up the glass of water on the side as she gulped the water down, and argued, “Why so strict? I’m not breaking the law, I’m just eating junk food.”

“Eat at regular times, junk food is not a necessity.”

Anhao was annoyed, he was being too overbearing! He controlled the way she dressed and threw away her things, now he even wanted to limit her junk food intake!

If not for his excellent culinary skills and the food he made that was so delicious, she would have boldly flipped the dishes in front of her and left.
