Chapter 26

No one expected Chunchun to suddenly stand up, bow apologetically to Yi Zeyang, who was on the stage afar, and speak with a sweet voice, “Sir! My name is Su Chunchun, you can ask me to go to your office later when you are done with the lecture! I promise I will behave!”

Murmurs started spreading out from the silent lecture hall—all of them looked shocked!

She had actually teased a lecturer in front of the whole school! As expected from one of the female bully trio of A High!

However, Mr. Yi who was being teased by the female student was unfazed. He was not frightened by the female student at all. His eyes first scanned Chunchun’s face, and then shifted to Anhao who looked like she could not wait to disappear.

Seeing that he was looking at Anhao, Chunchun maintained her eye-catching posture while reaching her hand down to drag Anhao up with all her might.

“Get up! Mr. Yi must’ve seen you covering your head with your uniform just now! Apologize to the lecturer now!”

Anhao could not stand her so she pushed her hand away. “If you want to be a fangirl do it alone! Don’t get me involved too!”

Chunchun looked down and glared at her, looking shocked. “Didn’t we make a promise to tease handsome guys together? If you’re not joining in at least back me up! The lecturer’s looking at you! You better get up!”

Huang Amao who was beside them could no longer stand it as he reached out a claw-like hand toward Anhao.

Anhao was tickled by him, and she immediately jumped up instinctively.

The entire lecture hall became noisier the moment Anhao stood up. Anhao gritted her teeth, she was put in a difficult position. She raised her line of sight to look at Yi Zeyang who had put down his notes. With a slight smile like a soft spring breeze caressing their faces, and a pair of gentle eyes, he waited patiently for an explanation from the two female students.

Anhao could only bow apologetically to Yi Zeyang as she spoke monotonously, “Sorry Mr. Yi, I shouldn’t have fallen asleep when an older person like you is giving a speech.”

“Oh, Gu Anhao, how could you say that, how can you call Mr. Yi an old man when he’s so young…”

Murmurs and whispers were everywhere.

Facing the countless taunts, for the first time, Anhao felt like she did not know how to fight back because the man on stage was staring at her.

However, Chunchun courageously pulled her along with a face filled with sincerity as she said, “My dear lecturer! I will definitely teach our Anhao a lesson! I promise you the next time you come to our school to give another speech, she will listen from the beginning until the end, she won’t even try to blink!”

More laughter roared from below.

Anhao wanted to slap the foolish girl, Chunchun, so badly!

Yi Zeyang chuckled. “Your name is Anhao, huh?”

When she heard Yi Zeyang’s voice, AnHao quickly lifted her head.

“Let’s have a chat in my office later.”

“…”

Chunchun seemed to be shocked as she turned her head to look at Anhao, but Anhao had already pulled her back down to her seat.

“Isn’t Mr. Yi supposed to call me to his office to chat? Why did he call for you?” Chunchun angrily yanked Anhao’s arm. “What’s going on with you today? You better explain yourself! Not only did you not help me out, you even held me back from flirting with the lecturer!”

Anhao did not know what God or goddess she had just offended, she was just really unfortunate these past few days.

“What do you mean flirt? Why do u want to flirt with a man who’s about to get married?”

“He’s about to get married? How do you know that?!”

The talk continued on as if nothing had happened, Yi Zeyang continued to deliver his speech to the third year students calmly in a serious and strict manner.
