Zuo Hancheng was startled because he had never expected to see this side of Gu Anhao.

Gu Anhao was a master in Taekwondo and she would always get into fights with other people. Had she ever considered herself to be a female? She was so tough that she could even go to a bar to have a few drinks even after getting slapped in the face.

Zuo Hancheng never expected to see Gu Anhao acting in such a coquettish manner.

Gu Anhao instinctively clung onto Zuo Hancheng’s body as she felt that his arms were very warm and comforting.

At this time, she felt as though all her worries and sadness had already dissipated into thin air. She finally found a warm place that she could rely on. Therefore, Gu Anhao felt a little reluctant to move as she wanted to hold onto this warm and safe haven. She suddenly felt like she was a young child again.

Initially, Zuo Hancheng intended to let Gu Anhao sober up first before he interrogated her about why Yi Zeyang was the one sending her back to school.

However, Gu Anhao had subconsciously clung onto him and he could not help but feel his heart aching because of her. Zuo Hancheng could feel the warmth of her body as their bodies rubbed against one another through their thin clothing.

Zuo Hancheng was certain that he was a normal man. He had already pretty much felt the allure of this little one from their previous encounter, and after having had to take a cold shower the last time, he was determined not to go through that same torture once more.

He placed his arms around her waist as he supported her because she was so drunk that she could not even raise her head or stand straight on her own.

Even though his mood was very complicated because of this girl, he finally sighed as he said in a low voice, “Stop messing around already. Please go in and take a shower now. I promise that you will definitely feel better after taking a shower. Be good and listen to me, okay?”

Anhao raised her head reluctantly and she stared at him for a brief moment before she finally nodded. “Okay.”

“Good girl,” Zuo Hancheng patted her head. “Hurry up and go in.”

Anhao entered the bathroom obediently and after a short while, Zuo Hancheng could hear the sound of running water. Even though Gu Anhao was drunk, she still had the instinct to adjust the temperature of the water before taking a bath. Zuo Hancheng then quickly searched for an ice pack.

Twenty minutes passed in the blink of an eye. Zuo Hancheng went to the refrigerator and took out the ice pack that he had just put in before he walked toward the bathroom door.

He was wondering whether Gu Anhao had fallen asleep in the bathtub because she was so drunk. Therefore, he walked toward the bathroom door because he wanted to open the door and check if she had already fallen asleep inside.

At this time, Gu Anhao suddenly opened the bathroom door as she walked out of the bathroom, wrapped in a white bathrobe.

Gu Anhao’s face was a little pinkish as she had soaked herself in the hot bath for the past twenty minutes, and she was still feeling very dizzy. When she saw Zuo Hancheng standing in front of the bathroom door, she said, “I am done…”

“Come over here and sit down.”

Zuo Hancheng brought Gu Anhao over to the sofa and sat her own. Gu Anhao was staring at Zuo Hancheng with a blank expression on her face but she jumped as soon as he placed the cold ice pack on her cheek. It was as though someone had just pressed the switch to make her jump because she was instantly stimulated by the cold, stinging sensation on her face. “It hurts…”

Zuo Hancheng grabbed hold of her before sitting her back down on the sofa. “So, you can still feel pain? Endure it! If you do not apply ice on your face now, your face will definitely be as swollen as a pig’s head in the morning tomorrow!”
