Zuo Hancheng did not say anything, he simply walked toward the coffee table as he picked up the cell phone that was ringing continuously.

He stared at the cell phone but it was a phone call from an unknown number that had not been saved. The cell phone continued ringing again and again, and this proved that the other party was indeed very persistent.

Gu Anhao was lying on the sofa behind him and she pulled her bathrobe tightly together as she was feeling a little cold. She turned around to look at Zuo Hancheng before asking in a muffled tone, “Who’s calling?”

“It’s probably a prank call,” Zuo Hancheng replied. After that, he threw the cell phone down before he turned around to pick her up, but the cell phone rang again, indicating that there was an incoming text message.

The cell phone that had been thrown on the carpet next to the sofa displayed the content of the short message.

Anhao, answer my call.

Zuo Hancheng knitted his brows tightly together when he saw the intimate and commanding tone of the text message. Gu Anhao’s cell phone then started ringing again.

It was already in the middle of the night. Who was calling her so persistently? Who could be so concerned about her to this extraordinary extent?

The Gu family? No, it was obviously impossible.

Gu Anhao continued grunting in an uncomfortable manner behind him, and when she saw that Zuo Hancheng was ignoring her because he was lost in his thoughts, she picked up the ice pack before placing it on her forehead.

Zuo Hancheng picked up the cellphone before he answered the call, and placed the cell phone against his ear.

“Anhao, where are you?”

A man’s voice sounded on the other end of the line.

He felt that this voice was very familiar.

This voice belonged to Yi Zeyang, the heir of Yishi Group.

Yi Zeyang did not walk Gu Anhao back to her dormitory because he wanted to respect her wishes by leaving her alone.

His original intention was to ask for her help to prepare an ice pack to apply on Anhao’s injury so that her cheek would not be so red and swollen the next day. However, after speaking to Chunchun, Yi Zeyang found out that Gu Anhao did not make it back to the dormitory.
