Gu Anhao was shocked when she saw Zuo Hancheng standing behind her as he looked at her with an indifferent and yet solemn expression on his face. “You can close your book and put down your pen already. Why are you pretending to be so hardworking?”

Anhao could not stop her mouth from twitching. “It is because you interrupted my tutoring session! I was studying hard earlier on until you came and drove Teacher Qin away. Now, I can’t seem to pay any more attention to the books!”

Zuo Hancheng stared at her coldly as he asked, “Why is your tutor a man?”

“Huh? What?” Anhao asked with an innocent and puzzled expression on her face.

Zuo Hancheng could tell that Gu Anhao was deliberately provoking him by pretending to be cute and innocent. However, he continued frowning as he raised his brows at her.

“Why did you find a male tutor for yourself?”

“How would I know?”

As soon as Anhao answered, she lowered her head as she bit into the end of her pen to avoid his gaze. “You were the one who asked Mobai to arrange for a tutor for me. I did not ask for it on my own! If you don’t believe me, you can give Mobai a call and ask him about it! Anyway, he is just a tutor. A tutor is still a tutor no matter whether the tutor is a male or female. What is the difference anyway?”

Zuo Hancheng knew that Anhao was being stubborn and persistent because she knew that he would not bother to call Mobai anyway.

The young girl wanted to fight with him but she was still too tender and young.

Zuo Hancheng was not provoked as he simply smiled before he said, “Gu Anhao, do you even use the tiny brain that you have?”

At this time, the expression on Gu Anhao’s face remained unchanged but she could feel goosebumps all over her body. It seemed as though the president of Shengling Group was really upset at her this time.

Therefore, Gu Anhao mustered the courage to turn around and look at him before she replied, “All that I did was simply to accept the arrangements that you made in an obedient manner. I stayed at home for my tutoring session and I did not go anywhere else today. So, why are you still angry?”

“Do you know what time it is now?”

Anhao glanced at the time before she curled her lips and replied, “Nine thirty at night.”

“It’s already half past nine at night and you were alone in the room with a strange man. What is a man and a woman doing alone in a room when your husband is not home?”

Anhao stood up before she glared at him confidently with a determined and arrogant expression on her face. “You were the one who asked Mobai to arrange for a tutor to teach me! If I don’t take advantage of the time that I have to catch up with my studies, then when will I be able to make time to study? I am studying right now and I have a tutor with me even though it is late at night because I am trying to fulfil the promise that I made to you. So, why are you still unhappy?
