Still, he couldn’t help but give detailed instructions since she had never experienced such things before.
Su Wenyue continued to nod vigorously: “I understand, just like usual, I won’t let anyone notice.”
“Good. I have some things to arrange, so you just stay in your room and rest. It’s best not to go out during this last bit of time in case something unexpected happens,” said Han Yu after ensuring Su Wenyue agreed, and then he left.
Su Wenyue lay in bed wanting to rest, but she couldn’t fall asleep no matter how she tossed and turned. Eventually, as Han Yu returned and it was nearly dark outside.
“How did it go? Did you get everything arranged?” Su Wenyue asked quietly after making sure there was no one outside and shutting the door.
“Everything is set. Judging by your condition, you didn’t rest this afternoon, did you?” Han Yu knew by looking at his wife’s demeanor that she was probably too excited to sleep.
“I’m so happy that we can finally leave this place, I’m too excited to sleep. But don’t worry; I’m still full of energy and won’t let it affect our actions. It’s you I’m worried about. You’ve been busy and haven’t stopped to rest. Take a rest now, since everything depends on you; you’re the one who needs to be in the best spirits,” Su Wenyue hurriedly assured Han Yu after hearing his words.
Han Yu knew exactly what his wife was like, and her reaction was within his expectations. He nodded, “I’ve already had the Kitchen send over meals. After eating, rest with me for a while. We have to wait for complete darkness outside before we can act.”
