“My Lord?” Seeing that Liu Xiu had been standing there in a daze for a while, the subordinate called out softly.

“Not bad at all, my wife’s skills are still as exceptional as ever, delicious, just too delicious!” Han Yu savored the meal specially prepared by his wife with immense satisfaction. One could hardly be picky about the food in the military camp, just being full was usually enough. Although Liu Xiu had arranged for a separate chef for him because of his injury, the taste could not compare to what he got at home, let alone the dishes prepared by Su Wenyue. He was not praising his own wife unduly, but her cooking talent was simply unparalleled. She must have learned it from somewhere outstanding.

“As long as it’s delicious, you should eat more. Look at how you’ve slimmed down these days. You need to nourish yourself properly. I’ll cook for you every day from now on and ensure you are taken care of well.” She did know her meals wouldn’t disappoint, but she still felt quite pleased by Han Yu’s compliments. In fact, she was a lazy person and hadn’t cooked for a long time since there was a chef at home and a little girl proficient in cooking. Now, her desire to care for Han Yu had her back at it, and she even joined him in sipping the soup.

“As long as it’s tasty, you should eat more.” Su Wenyue said with a curved smile.

Originally, Han Yu was recuperating from his injuries in the camp, but since Su Wenyue arrived, things couldn’t continue as before.
