At 5 p.m., Tong Ya drove frantically to the restaurant with Tuan Tuan.
“Tuan Tuan had a competition today, so we got back late!”
Without thinking, Tong Ya explained, then hurriedly put on her apron and gloves and went into the food truck.
“Chen Yu, boss, you haven’t started seeing this girl, have you? Why does she come to help every day?”
Chen Yu was taken aback for a moment.
Before he could speak, Tong Ya quickly explained.
“Actually, we’re university classmates and have always been very good friends. He got divorced, and I felt sad, so I came to help out a bit!”

Amidst their chatter, a group of people noisily took out their cellphones and dialed numbers.
By 8 p.m., all the fried cakes and vegetable pastries had sold out.
Luckily, Chen Yu had set aside fifty sugar cakes and thirty vegetable pastries beforehand.
Aside from serving as their dinner, he also needed to take twenty sugar cakes and ten vegetable pastries back for Tang Xiaowei.
Otherwise, Tang Xiaowei might actually starve to death!
As they were cleaning up, the piercing sound of police sirens suddenly rang out. A few authoritative officials headed straight for the food truck.
“Sir, we are from the health department. We received a report that you added some bad substances to the food. Please provide samples for testing!”
