“What is this place? Who are you?” Chen Yu gripped the neck of the burly man, asking with icy coldness.

The burly man simply yelled some strange language, not answering Chen Yu’s questions at all.

The woman threw aside the iron and struggled to stand up: “Don’t bother; he’s probably a native of the Bagel Tribe. Their language is so obscure, outsiders…”

She hadn’t finished her sentence when Chen Yu started to speak in the language of the burly man.

The burly man was stunned for a moment and looked at Chen Yu somewhat blankly: “How can you speak our language?”

“Quit the nonsense, answer my questions!”

“This is Paradise Island, the headquarters of the Crows!”

“Why did you abduct me?” Chen Yu continued to press.

“You interfered with our attempt to assassinate Victor William, so you must die!”

Chen Yu’s face was filled with frustration; he had only saved Victor on a whim and hadn’t expected it to cause trouble for himself.

After knocking the burly man out with a blow to the back of his neck, Chen Yu crawled to the mouth of the cave and peered around.

“Little brother, you are quite impressive, fluent in such an obscure language and so skillful too! How about this, you carry me out of here, and I’ll make sure to repay you handsomely.”

Chen Yu didn’t pay her any attention, just kept observing the terrain beneath the mountain.

Although this was an island, most of the area was covered by a primitive jungle.

Escaping from here would be much harder than surviving in the wilderness.

After figuring out an escape route, Chen Yu finally turned back to face the woman.

“Who are you? How did you end up here?”

He asked simply and imperiously, leaving the woman bewildered; no one had ever spoken to her like this before.

“I’m Jin Lingsu, the head of a small neighboring country, and I was kidnapped here.”

Chen Yu’s brows furrowed slightly, reading from the woman’s subtle facial expressions, she appeared to be telling the truth.

“I can take you with me, but you must follow my instructions on the way.”

Jin Lingsu nodded fervently, immediately stretching out her hands to cling onto Chen Yu’s back.

Following the planned route, Chen Yu carefully slid down the slope.

Just as he was passing through the jungle and about to reach the coastline, numerous explosive devices suddenly rained down from the sky, turning the entire island into a blazing inferno.

Chen Yu had no choice but to quicken his pace, carrying Jin Lingsu as he jumped onto a speedboat by the shore.

Before long, over a dozen helicopters descended from the sky, and the armed personnel from them rapidly took over the entire island.

Tong Ya rushed out of the plane anxiously, grabbing someone immediately to demand Chen Yu’s whereabouts.

“Miss Tong, don’t worry, my men have started a comprehensive search. I believe Mr. Chen will be fine.”

Victor, leaning on a cane, descended the plane with the support of two bodyguards.

Tong Ya tried to calm herself, but her eyes betrayed her anxiety.

She had only lived for the two words ‘Chen Yu’ her whole life; if anything happened to Chen Yu, she would make the entire world pay.

“Mr. William, just now our people saw a small boat heading towards Coconut Palm Island over there, and one of them seemed to be Mr. Chen.”

Victor’s brow furrowed deeply: “Coconut Palm Island? That’s Jin Lingsu’s territory. That woman is merciless; if Mr. Chen has fallen into her hands, I fear the worst.”

Tong Ya didn’t care about the specifics, immediately boarding the nearby helicopter, gesturing the pilot to head towards Coconut Palm Island.

Victor, feeling helpless, could only order his people to follow suit.
