Tong Ya and Tuan Tuan had been helping by the side, either delivering medicine or arranging places for the patients.

Just then, several large trucks suddenly appeared at the resort.

“What’s going on here? How many times have we told you? We’re turning this place into a vineyard, so pack up and leave!”

The sudden voice made everyone present widen their eyes.

The villagers almost rushed up in unison to argue with them.

It looked like this wasn’t the first time these people had come here.

And it seemed like they were very familiar with everything here as they directly took out a report on the infectious disease.

“Your resort has long finished; only our company has the technology to handle infectious diseases. This place can only be revived in our hands!”

“We’re telling you, if you keep resisting, you have no other choice but to await death. Just sign on the dotted line and maybe you can get a compensation payment.”

Chen Yu sat there quietly, tending to the villagers’ illnesses on his own.

He was all too familiar with these tactics: some corporation had taken a fancy to this place’s location and was trying to drive the villagers out in order to buy the land at a low price.

While the villagers were in an endless argument with these people, Chen Yu suddenly stood up and picked up a pack of medicine to throw out.

The powder from the medicine bag scattered upon hitting the ground, its strong medicinal scent spreading out at that moment.

“You just added some chronic poison to the heavy metals; this isn’t really that clever. How can you have the gall to come here to acquire the resort?”

At these words, the group of people widened their eyes, staring at Chen Yu with a strange look.

“Who the hell are you? How dare you meddle in our business? I advise you to scram, or we’ll break one of your hands.”

Chen Yu ignored them and took out a walkie-talkie from his body.

“Captain Zhou, did you hear what they just said?”

“We heard it!” With Zhou Shengtao’s voice coming through the walkie-talkie, a chorus of police sirens followed, enclosing the area.

He had called Zhou Shengtao the night before, sending over the coordinates of five people in the jungle.

Zhou Shengtao began to deploy his plan, quietly capturing those five people, then hiding his forces around the resort.

Before the gang could react, a large number of relevant personnel rushed out from hidden corners and completely subdued them.

Looking at the villagers, Zhou Shengtau sighed helplessly.

“There’s been too much happening lately. We’ve received tips about the situation here, but, with no leads, it was tough! Besides, nobody would think about poisoning.”

Chen Yu didn’t say much, just continued brewing the medicine there.

The resort project was a good one; as long as all the villagers could come back, operations could recover, plus Chen Yu had plans to invest.

Chen Yu stayed there for three more days to handle some aftermath matters, then left with Tong Ya and Tuan Tuan.

But he didn’t return to the city; instead, he headed straight to another tourist destination.

Now, during the summer holiday, Chen Yu decided to take Tong Ya and Tuan Tuan for a trip, which also served as a honeymoon.

On the Aegean Sea beach, Chen Yu buried his body in the sand comfortably, with Tuan Tuan mimicking him and lying beside him.
