“By the way, what exactly is this so-called ‘Sun and Moon Rivers Festival’ that the Bright Culinary Association values so highly?”
Victor sighed helplessly and took out an invitation from his pocket.
“The Queen Elsa is actually a historical ocean liner with over three hundred years of history. It once represented the United Kingdom in battles across the world, earning undying merit. The ‘Sun and Moon Rivers Festival’ held on it is a farewell ceremony before the liner is retired. After the banquet, the authorities will immediately blow up the ship.”
Chen Yu immediately understood; in essence, it was about holding a world-class culinary competition on a soon-to-be-retired ship to create some final value.
And once its last bit of value had been extracted, the ship would be utterly useless.
