The scene descended into chaos instantly, with the once bustling passersby now screaming, and the security personnel on patrol quickly surrounding the area.

Chen Yu didn’t care for any of that. He placed his fingertips on the ground and a blue-white glow flickered, causing those people to collapse onto the ground.

After several upgrades, the system had significantly increased the intensity of the electric current it released. It wasn’t just a matter of these few people; even a few hundred more would be stunned at the same time.

Unexpectedly, however, a young man who looked to be in his twenties was not afraid of the current at all. His body slowed down only slightly before he continued to charge forward.

Chen Yu frowned. Were there really people in this world immune to electric current?

Without giving it much thought, he rushed forward, grabbed the stick in the man’s hand, and jabbed his other hand into the man’s neck.

Fury flooding him, Chen Yu was about to grab another person for questioning when the man took out a letter and stuffed it into his hand.

The letter was exquisitely made, even the envelope was metallic with gilded edges.

Chen Yu’s brow furrowed, and he immediately took out the letter, finding it to be an invitation to travel to Dongming Canyon.

Attached to the letter was a map marking the location of the canyon.
