The leading man let out a loud laugh.
“Even if the Knights of the Round Table are powerful, when the other major organizations come together, they wouldn’t dare to act rashly. Moreover, you Round Table have been too arrogant and overbearing in recent years. It’s time to give up the position of world leader that you’ve held for so long.”
Chen Yu’s eyes narrowed slightly. It appeared that the Lakato Family’s goal wasn’t simply about the William family; they also wanted to deal with the Knights of the Round Table.
“Since that’s the case, there’s nothing more to talk about.”
Chen Yu said indifferently, then crouched down, placing a hand on the sandy soil.
The man frowned, thinking that Chen Yu was going to surrender to him. Just as he was about to say something mocking, a powerful electric current burst forth from the ground.
Blue and white light flickered instantly across the desert, and all the people of the Lakato family began to convulse rapidly.
In less than two seconds, only the man from before was left standing.
Chen Yu clapped his hands and slowly stood up. Before the man had a chance to react, Chen Yu grabbed his shoulder.
“Now you’re the only one left here. Can you still take Mr. Victor away?”
The man’s eyes bulged wide: “What exactly did you do? What was that electric current just now? Did it come from you? Could this be the legendary Supernatural Powers?”
Chen Yu’s eyes shimmered with contempt: “There are no Supernatural Powers in this world, only powers beyond your imagination! Now I’m giving you a chance to live; immediately inform the Lakato family to abandon the siege on the William family, or I’ll kill you right now.”
The domineering voice made the man shiver uncontrollably, aware that today’s events were unlikely to end well.
“I don’t have the final say. There are many factions within the Lakato Family, and a decision must be made collectively before a result can be given.”
Chen Yu snorted coldly: “So in other words, you’re essentially worthless.”
As his words fell, he lifted his finger and pressed it against the man’s forehead. The man’s body convulsed for a moment before he collapsed.
Luo Sanpao had caught up by this point, and his eyes were full of shock. He hadn’t seen clearly how Chen Yu had done it; these people just fell down.
“Young brother, are you carrying some sort of electric shock device? Show me what weapon it is that’s so powerful.”
Chen Yu did not respond but picked up the man from before and started searching through his belongings.
