Chapter 479: Fake Credentials
The small interlude added even more excitement to the auction, especially with the appearance of Chen Yu which thrilled everyone present.
It wasn’t because they knew Chen Yu’s true identity, but having such a renowned physician on site at least ensured their safety.
Before long, the organizer’s auction ended, and it was time for the guest auction.
The format of this auction wasn’t simply Qin Mingxue and her party auctioning items off.
Guests who came to the auction brought a variety of items, taking advantage of this platform to sell them.
The atmosphere in the room on the third floor was somewhat awkward.
Qin Tianfeng glared at Chen Yu, breathing heavily.
Qin Mingxue, on the other hand, sat there leisurely sipping her milk tea.
She had always found her distant uncle displeasing, always looking to take some treasures with her everytime she visited.
Considering they were relatives, it wouldn’t have been appropriate to say much, but this time Chen Yu had avenged her in a satisfying way.
“Young man, just who exactly are you?”
Qin Tianfeng’s tone became gentle, as he knew that Chen Yu’s identity must be extraordinary.
Chen Yu, however, had no desire to engage and just sat there, minding his own business and eating.
Qin Mingxue coughed twice and put down her milk tea.
“I forgot to give you a detailed introduction. This Mr. Chen is the designated heir of the Tong Group in the imperial capital, and also an honorary director of the Childe Family.”
The string of beads in Qin Tianfeng’s hand clattered to the ground.
He had never dreamed that Chen Yu would have such an identity.
Before he could recover from his shock, Qin Mingxue approached Chen Yu with some embarrassment.
“Mr. Chen, could you please show your medical practitioner’s license, or any other identification, to my uncle?”
Chen Yu was not pretentious, pulling out a bunch of certificates from his person and tossing them onto the table.
Honorary President of the Imperial Capital Medical Association, Certificate of Special-Grade Physician, Certificate of Special-Grade Chef, Extra-Departmental Personnel Certificate of Related Departments…
A variety of certificates dazzled onlookers.
Qin Tianfeng’s body trembled violently, and it seemed he had a sudden realization as he hurried in front of Chen Yu.
“Recently, the youngest honorary president was appointed in the Medical Association, could that be you?”
Chen Yu nodded, “I am merely filling in the position temporarily for a few senior gentlemen, when they return I will hand it back to them.”
Qin Tianfeng gasped, utterly surprised that the Chen Yu sitting before him was actually his superior.
“President Chen, I never expected to meet you here. This is my card, from now on I hope you can enlighten me.”
Chen Yu’s expression suddenly turned serious.
“Mr. Qin, the Medical Association isn’t somewhere anyone can just muddle through. I’m giving you three months to take and pass the relevant certification exams; otherwise, I’ll have no choice but to kick you out.”
Qin Tianfeng tried to play dumb.
“I don’t understand what you mean? Aren’t my certificates good enough as I’ve been in the field for a long time? Do I still need to take exams?”
Chen Yu snorted coldly, “You know full well how you got your certificates, and besides, that book of yours has many inaccuracies. Relying solely on the information in that book for practicing medicine, it will only be a matter of time before a big problem occurs.”
Qin Tianfeng felt a pang of alarm in his heart; he understood that Chen Yu knew everything.
