Chen Yu didn’t answer but walked straight to Xu Sanhe’s side, grabbed his pulse, glanced it over briefly, and then suddenly seized his neck.

“Mr. Xu, you may have been poisoned, and I must expel all the toxins from your body. No matter what happens next, please trust me completely,” Chen Yu said.

Xu Sanhe hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

Without saying anything else, just by looking at the patrolling team members collapsed beside him, it was clear that Chen Yu was a friend, not a foe.

“Mr. Xu, I’ve removed the poison from your body. Stand up and move around a bit for now; I’ll go take care of these annoying pests outside,” Chen Yu said.

Xu Sanhe had long harbored deep hatred for the patrol team members; he couldn’t believe that they had actually dared to poison him.

The entire villa plunged into chaos as the patrolling team members guarding the place were knocked to the ground one after another.

The newly returned butler stood at the door, dumbfounded, staring incredulously at Chen Yu.

“Mr. Chen, since you’ve dealt with everyone, please hurry and attend to my master’s illness. He might not live much longer,” the butler said.

Chen Yu flicked his wrist, “I’ve already cured Mr. Xu, no need to worry.”

The butler’s mouth hung open wide, in disbelief that Chen Yu had resolved everything in less than ten minutes.

Before he could react, Chen Yu had already pulled him into the villa and straight to Xu Sanhe’s bedside.

The Xu Family’s security personnel, who had previously been restrained, had now been released; after tying up the patrol team members, they stood guard at Xu Sanhe’s door.

Chen Yu took some medicine from the nearby pharmacy and placed it in front of the bed.

“Mr. Xu, I’m curious; since this city provides more than half of the wealth, why would the city lord move against you?” Chen Yu asked solemnly.

Though the question was asked in earnest, anyone with a bit of sense could hear that Chen Yu was asking deliberately.

Xu Sanhe clenched his teeth so hard they made a grinding sound.

“In Sha Tongtian’s eyes, the entire Sky Sand City is his! To him, we are less than dogs; he’s now eagerly starting to settle accounts with us,” Xu Sanhe replied angrily.

Chen Yu nodded and then stood up.

“If you need help, Mr. Xu, I will offer my full support, including taking down Sha Tongtian,” Chen Yu declared.

Xu Sanhe stood up excitedly.

“If you could lend a hand, that would be fantastic. Everyone in Sky Sand City will see you as their benefactor.”

Chen Yu just smiled, said nothing more, and left the villa directly.
