Chapter 1001: Know yourself and know your enemy_3

Noland Lee thought for a moment, and added a few more instructions:

“Without my command, do not deploy the Mechanos. I will deal with the enemies myself. If those Mechanos left outside the temporary base are attacked, immediately activate their self-destruct formation, and don’t let them fall into the enemy’s hands.”

“No problem, Sir. I’ll keep an eye on the Mechanos,” came the reply.

Noland Lee settled various affairs, and pretending to be unaware of the approaching enemies, he left the base nonchalantly.

At this time, the illusion body carrying magic scrolls had used up all its magic scrolls.

In the Ground Snake Nest, the Dark Abyss Eels were dead, wounded or had fled, and the scene was covered with black marks left by thunder and lightning.

Three illusion bodies and one Mechanos, disguised as a Thunder Wizard, remained on alert at the edge of the battlefield, appearing to be waiting for someone.

It just so happened that Noland Lee flew towards the nest.

His actions, as expected, were perceived by the Shadow Death Scouts lurking in the dark as a move to collect magic materials.

Generally speaking, those who don’t engage in battle personally and yet personally harvest magic materials are either the hardworking types dedicated to gathering or key figures within a team.

Noland Lee was wearing a very luxurious Lightning Robe.

Look at that smooth velvet material, the exquisite pale gold embroidery, the sparkling magic gems, and the shiny clasps…

All signs indicated that this person held an extraordinary status within the “Thunder Wizard” team.

Bringing him down would essentially be tantamount to conquering the Thunder Wizards who had entered the Dark Zone.

Dozens of elusive, dark gazes passed through the thick darkness and towering stalagmites, settling on Noland Lee.

With “Perception Enhancement” affecting him, Noland keenly detected these gazes.

“It seems like 16 Shadow Deathers have set their sights on me. Among them, 6 are relatively close to me, and I can already clearly sense their exact positions. The other 10 are quite distant, hiding outside of my perception range.

“The 6 approaching Shadow Deathers move quickly and don’t produce any energy fluctuations when they move, clearly relying on physical methods to achieve swift transition. These 6 individuals must also serve as ‘Wanderers,’ and their levels are not low, enabling them to approach stealthily.

“As for the 10 Shadow Deathers hiding farther away…”

Noland Lee steadied his mind and sensed carefully.

He felt a strange rhythmic energy in the air.

This rhythm caused his neck to itch as if someone was tickling him with foxtail grass.

The neck, itchy, hmm, this was a mental signal that the enemy was planning a beheading operation.

The 10 Shadow Deathers outside the range of perception were probably preparing some fatal move.

What tactics could be combined with the 6 Shadow Death Wanderers to quickly eliminate him?

Noland Lee quickly contemplated and found several answers from his previous deconstruction results!

Answer one:

Summoning flow.

Jointly summoning hundreds of shadow demons with high resistance to thunder and lightning energy could achieve the effect of an encirclement and kill.

Answer two:

Possession flow.

The Shadow Deathers mastered a spell in shadow magic called “Shadow Entrancing Technique.” It could forcefully implant the highly threatening “Dread Demon” into the target’s body, bypassing the “Magic Shield” to directly stab at the target’s soul and psyche.

Answer three:

Exile flow.

Using the Shadow Death Wanderers to restrict the target’s movements, the remaining Shadow Deathers could then open an “Exile Channel” to the Ancient Lomis Continent, banishing the target to the Deadly Land of Life Creatures—the Ancient Lomis Continent.

All three methods could pose a threat to Noland Lee.

Noland Lee knew how to counter them.

As Noland Lee quietly speculated about the enemy’s movements, a circle of Black Flame suddenly appeared nearby, creating a wall of fire that blocked all escape routes.

Noland Lee raised an eyebrow and chuckled softly in his heart, realizing what the enemy was about to do.

He shivered like a startled “Thunder Wizard” and quickly cast a “Magic Shield” dense with lightning.
