Chapter 1038: 323. St. Dillan Fire_2
Could they belong to two different mystical systems?
Noland Lee temporarily suppressed the thoughts in his mind and said:
“You might not know this, but these bloodstains come from an extraordinary being called Blood Binder Zudak…”
Noland Lee revealed what he knew to the Dusk Giant, finally asking:
“…So in this situation, how do you plan to transform the Pollution Zone into your Sub-Dimensional Plane?”
The Dusk Giant seemed to be interested, as the information given by Noland Lee was clearly much more than what the Earth Vein Wizards held.
The Dusk Giant’s Pendant swung in a circle, touching the ground level:
“First, I need to drive away the Blood Binder, then I will move my soul and Extraordinary Traits over.”
“Um, is it that simple?” Noland Lee asked.
“Yes,” said the Dusk Giant:
“This Pollution Zone will be assimilated by my soul and Extraordinary Traits, eventually becoming what you wizards call a Sub-Dimensional Plane.”
Noland Lee felt the implied meaning in the words:
“What do you call the Sub-Dimensional Plane then? In your view, how does a Sub-Dimensional Plane come to be?”
The Dusk Giant was as forthcoming as ever, sharing everything it knew:
“We call the Sub-Dimensional Plane ‘ގޯމް’, which in the Ulnas Circle language means ‘Homestead.’ The Dusk Giants take the creation of their own Homestead as a rite of passage.
“Do you remember the disaster that befell us? The day the disaster occurred was the day I was to undergo my rite of passage. If I had my own Homestead before the disaster struck, perhaps I wouldn’t have been forced to wander…”
The Dusk Giant suddenly became somber:
“However, it’s possible that even if I had a Homestead, I still couldn’t have avoided the disaster. Because to this day, I have not found any other members of my clan who had a Homestead and survived the disaster just like me. I also don’t know where those who hid in their Homesteads have gone now. I really want to find them…”
Noland Lee crossed his arms and paced back and forth, speculating in his mind.
Before the Dusk Giant could transform the Pollution Zone, he had to first eradicate the Blood Binder’s bloodstains.
This coincided perfectly with the task assigned by the Assassin Angel.
Since this was the case, he might as well do a good turn and go with the flow.
“Cough, I am willing to help you transform this Pollution Zone,” Noland Lee coughed lightly and said:
“In fact, I was just planning to drive the Blood Binder out of here.”
“Really? Thank you for your help,” replied the Dusk Giant joyfully:
“What kind of remuneration would you like?”
