Chapter 1068: 334. No longer human_2

“I’ll give it a try,” Omar Goddard paused for a few seconds,

“…Hmm… My consciousness, following the pipe network within the Star-Breaking Beast, has reached the edge of the Pollution Zone… I feel the presence of the outer wall…

“It’s feasible, no problem, Jarvis. I can barely control a small area of the outer wall, making it expand or contract. I’m not sure if this will be helpful to you.”

Noland Lee clapped his hands and grinned,

“Completely sufficient. I just want to cause a bit of disruption. I’ll transmit the position of the Pure Light Court’s Magic Laboratory to you right now.”

Noland used mental magic to manipulate his mind, sharing several “Tracking Marks” with Omar Goddard.

These marks were quite far from the Magic Laboratory of the Pure Light Court, but by connecting them with lines, the intersection of those lines would reveal the precise location of the laboratory.

This was a method of locating that wouldn’t alarm the Pure Light Court, a technique Noland had just thought of.

Noland and Omar Goddard rehearsed several times to ensure nothing could go wrong, and then they set into action.

As a provider of the thundercloud, Noland was particularly concerned about its performance, which seemed reasonable.

For this reason, Noland openly used an Illusion Body to observe the magic experiment, staying until late night without leaving.

At midnight, when the Light Wizards participating in the magic experiment were changing shifts, the outer wall of the Pollution Zone, which had been bombarded by thunder and lightning all day, suddenly swelled.

“Gurgle gurgle gurgle!”

The grey rock outer wall suddenly expanded outward, its surface displaying large swaths of stone patterns like waves, and noise from within the Pollution Zone poured into the ears of the Light Wizards present.

“Shh shh shh—Crack crack crack—Gurgle gurgle gurgle!!”

The rock wall contracted inward and then expanded outward again, releasing loud, deafening sounds.

Some Light Wizards were relatively close to this grey wall.

The thin magical film on their bodies offered no protection against the sudden onslaught of noise and vibration, and they dissipated into the air like bursting bubbles.

After their protective shields were breached, the Light Wizards bled from their orifices one after another, staggering and collapsing, lying limp on the ground.

If not for Noland’s intentional instruction to Omar Goddard to hold back, these Light Wizards might have died on the spot.

“That’s good enough, stop at that,” Noland called out to Omar Goddard in his mind.

Upon receiving Noland’s command, Omar immediately stopped controlling the outer wall of the Pollution Zone.

The Magic Laboratory returned to calm amidst painful groans, and the previously violently pulsating outer wall was now tranquil.

A voice came from within the Purity Watcher,

“Stop the magic experiment, treat the injured, protect the experimental data, I’m on my way.”

That should be the voice of Jay Spade.

Something had gone wrong in the Magic Laboratory, and as the person in charge, he had to be there immediately, as per the rules of the Pure Light Court.

Noland controlled the Illusion Body, sitting on the single sofa on the balcony, quietly observing the experimental scene below.

On the balconies to his left and right, many previously motionless Illusion Bodies were now active.
