Chapter 1163 (1/2)
Chapter 1163: 362. Formal Meeting_2
Noland Lee steadied his mind and calmly waited for the moment when the “Escape” Core of the Plane would “answer the phone”.
As time ticked by, the Soul Energy within the Array steadily declined, and the star in the night sky grew a bit brighter and its outline much clearer.
Noland Lee squinted his eyes, staring at the star, observing its entirety with all his might.
Noland Lee had once asked the Assassin Angel, “What exactly does the Plane Core look like?”
The answer from the Assassin Angel was simple:
For the current Noland Lee, the Plane Core is a star, which can be understood as a celestial body with Extraordinary Traits.
They are massive in size, able to move within the Universe, have tenacious vitality, and interfere with the Destiny of individual Life Creatures with extraordinary methods to satisfy their own needs.
Within their bodies is an independent space that can be divided and given to the Life Creatures they favor to construct Sub-Dimensional Planes.
Wizards view the stars in the Night Curtain as the entrance and exit to the Sub-Dimensional Plane, which is also a channel to enter and exit the internal space of the Plane Core.
Theoretically, beings like the Lecturer Professor who reside in Sub-Dimensional Planes all live within the “belly” of the Plane Core.
Of course, the Plane Core could also be thought of as a massive space ship, with the Sub-Dimensional Planes being guestrooms on this ship.
What Noland Lee now needed to do was figure out a way to board the “space ship” of the “Escape” Plane Core and become a “Passenger” on it.
A few more minutes passed.
The star in Noland Lee’s eyes began to enlarge.
He finally saw the full picture of the “Escape” Plane Core.
It was a very oddly shaped star, not spherical, but elongated and teardrop-shaped, like a tadpole with a long tail…
Considering that the Inner Cosmos he resided in was spherical, and looking at the enlarging tadpole-shaped star, Noland Lee’s expression turned somewhat odd.
Why does this scene feel so familiar??… Noland Lee paused for a moment, then immediately forced himself to remain calm and cast aside the random thoughts in his mind.
He felt a force of attraction coming from above his head, as if something was pulling him up into the sky.
Completely letting go of control over his body, Noland Lee allowed the force to pull him up into the Heavens.
Gradually, the sound of the tide receded, and the vast black Sea Surface was stepped under Noland Lee’s feet, as the tadpole-shaped star in his eyes became increasingly bright, its light overshadowing most of the surrounding Starlight, with only The Moon remaining unaffected.
Noland Lee forcefully controlled his gaze to prevent it from drifting.
He did not look down to check what was below his feet nor did he turn his head towards The Moon.
He kept staring intensely at the tadpole-shaped star.
This was something the Assassin Angel had repeatedly emphasized; during the Ceremony, one must not let one’s attention wander, otherwise the Ceremony could be interrupted immediately, leading to unpredictable consequences.
At this moment, only the tadpole-shaped star and The Moon remained in the night sky; all other stars had disappeared.
The tadpole-shaped star twinkled with a greyish light, its silver-grey body occupying the left half of Noland Lee’s vision
The Moon, surrounded by a belt of light composed of shattered stones, was serenely still, filling the right half of Noland Lee’s view.
The two celestial bodies reflected each other.
Noland Lee slightly turned his head, focusing all his sight on the tadpole-shaped star to avoid wandering thoughts.
Just then, the scenery around him suddenly began to recede rapidly, and he ascended at an extremely fast pace.
Before Noland Lee could take a closer look, the tadpole-shaped star in his eyes suddenly enlarged, and he uncontrollably crashed onto the star’s grey Ground Level.
In that instant, Noland Lee crossed the surface of the star without hindrance, entering its interior and arriving in a unique space filled with swirling Grey Mist.
Noland Lee relaxed his body, floating off the ground, suspended in the mist.
The Assassin Angel said:
“Success. The ‘Escape’ has temporarily accepted you. It looks quite weak; probably having wandered in the Barren Universe for too long without absorbing much of the Fire of St. Dylan. Your arrival has just given it hope.”
Noland Lee blinked, looking around, then glanced down at his own body, but all he saw was rolling Grey Mist.
Well, just as the Assassin Angel described.
What had entered this place was his consciousness.
His body was still lying on the Magic Inflatable Raft, coexisting with the ritual array.
Noland Lee randomly aimed in a direction and cast the Deconstruction Technique.
