“What happened here?” Lamont arrived belatedly.

He puzzledly looked at his superior who froze in the Valuable Warehouse Area, then glanced at Paisi Dingda, who was surrounded by Pure Light Wizards and whose anger was mixed with confusion.

The response to Lamont was just the puzzled looks of the Pure Light Wizards.

For a moment, the scene fell eerily silent, and everyone besides the parties involved wanted to figure out what exactly had happened tonight.

Jay Spade shakily pulled out paper and pen and wrote a letter on the spot, requesting a spare key to the warehouse from Elder Skimming Light.

Two minutes later, the spare key arrived.

Everyone gathered in front of the warehouse, watching Jay Spade unlock the door.

As the empty warehouse was revealed, the Pure Light Wizards, whose Spiritual Oceans were not developed enough to penetrate the Protective Array and sense the Gem Box, all took a deep, sharp intake of breath.

The sound of inhaling was uniform.

Jay Spade’s eyes were filled with fury, and he ground his teeth tightly.

He raised his arms, waving them and loudly said,

“What are you standing around for! Go search the entire base! Quick!!”

“Yes, sir!”

The Pure Light Wizards dared not face their livid superior, and they left the scene as fast as they could.

Jay Spade turned to look for Paisi Dingda, wanting to explain his earlier out-of-character behavior to the other.

But, Paisi Dingda was gone.

Unbeknownst to them, the Metal System Wizard had left the base.

In a state of fury, Jay Spade zoned out for a moment, and after trying hard to remember, he couldn’t recall when the Metal System Wizard had left.
