Chapter 1203 (1/2)
Chapter 1203: 379. Misleading Guidance
“Your Blood Magic does indeed have some intriguing uses,” Benjamin Jelani’s head turned from side to side as he surveyed the surroundings:
“I honestly didn’t expect that Clint and I could bypass the limitations of your soul contract this way and enter this Sub-Dimensional Plane that has just recently appeared.”
Clint Windhawk was more silent and reticent, unlike the eloquent Benjamin Jelani.
After giving Nabby’s head a slight nod, he fired white columns of air outward from his mask.
The air columns stretched towards the maze, branching along various passages in different directions.
This was Clint “Wind Hawk” casting a Wind Spell to detect the unique space that the trio were in on a large scale.
“This should be a maze,” Clint “Windhawk” said methodically:
“The five ritual arrays that Nabby set up outside just happened to teleport his five avatars here. These five avatars appeared in five corners of the maze. These corners must be the entrances to the maze. Judging from the distribution of the maze entrances, the center of the hemisphere they form is very likely the maze’s exit.”
Clint “Windhawk,” worthy of his title as a Transcendent Wizard who has participated in exploring Sub-Dimensional Planes and Magic Relics numerous times, immediately noticed the pattern of the maze.
Benjamin Jelani had great trust in Clint Windhawk and raised no objections.
Out of the blue, Nabby asked:
“Do you have a way to find the other maze entrances? That mysterious being who told me the time when the Sub-Dimensional Entrance would open might have entered through another maze entrance. We need to avoid it as much as possible.”
Nabby’s tone carried a hint of caution when he said this, as if afraid of being caught red-handed by the “mysterious being” he mentioned.
However, Nabby didn’t see it as a problem even if they were indeed caught.
The ‘Dissolve Blood into Body Technique’ he was using is a very peculiar type of Blood Magic that allows the blending of other people’s blood into his body, and then using his own biological material to create a ‘conjoined’ magical body.
In this magical body, Nabby, Clint Windhawk, and Benjamin Jelani were a trio conjoined, sharing the same body while also retaining some of their Extraordinary Abilities.
This intermingled state became Nabby’s perfect method to circumvent the restrictions of the soul contract.
The downside of this Blood Magic was as conspicuous as its advantages.
Firstly, the Spell Casting Ability of the three conjoined Transcendent Wizards was significantly reduced.
Their combined strength was equivalent to that of a normal Transcendent-level Wizard’s Magic Avatar.
But if this combined strength was divided into three, each taking a third, then their average strength would fall to that of an Eighth Circle Combat Wizard.
This was one of the downsides of the ‘Dissolve Blood into Body Technique.’
Another drawback was that Nabby, who served as the vessel, had to be stronger than both Benjamin and Clint.
In other words, if Benjamin and Clint were to merge their Magic Avatars with Nabby, he would have to use his original body rather than an Avatar.
