Chapter 1245 (1/2)

Chapter 1245: 398. Prelude to Leaving_2

The Scroll Angel pointed to another galaxy and said,

“Hmm, your concerns are legitimate. Now, take a look at this galaxy. This galaxy contains only one planetary system, which consists of six planets and one star. The non-metallic mineral deposits on all six planets are extremely abundant, with one planet even hosting sparse intelligent life forms. Such a planet can not only provide you with non-metallic minerals but also help you recruit servants. The only drawback is its considerable distance from the Metal Creation Group, and it is not on the interstellar travel route of mankind’s civilization in outer space. It might take you a couple of years to build a star fleet capable of leaving this galaxy.”

Having the ‘Heart of Magic’ and sufficient raw materials, building interstellar ships was not a difficult task for Noland Lee.

A universe magic ship is still a magic ship, and can be created through the ‘Shipbuilding Art’.

Noland Lee only needed to provide the general parameters for the universe magic ship, and the ‘Heart of Magic’ would respond with the necessary amount of material and the Magic Array Blueprint required for shipbuilding.

The most challenging part of constructing a universe magic ship was producing the quantum leap engine.

Noland Lee had to continuously maintain a casting state for two months to manually create the magic aspect of the quantum leap engine—the Magical Quantum Leap Machine.

The next step was to search for the space coordinates broadcast by the quantum leap beacon without knowing its exact location, decrypt and communicate them—another time-consuming task.

Given these difficulties, the Scroll Angel’s statement that Noland Lee needed two years to begin his attack on the Metal Creation Group was not unfounded and had factual basis.

Noland Lee stared at the galaxy on the star map and pondered for a moment before askings,

“What is the third option?”

The Scroll Angel pointed to a galaxy bustling with human activity:

“The third option is here, the Tarrian Star System of the Kamangki Federation, a trade-oriented galaxy that practices free mercantilism, bustling with various goods and interstellar mercenaries, autonomously governed by seven commercial groups in the Tarrian Star System. Here you can find the people and things you want, but be careful not to draw the attention of the commercial groups; they love to study anything that can bring commercial value.”

Noland Lee nodded:

“This sounds like, despite being in the Inner Cosmos, you are quite knowledgeable about the affairs of the Outer Space.”

The Scroll Angel said,

“This is thanks to the regulations left by the Supreme Star Palace. As the Plane Core of the ‘Wizard’ soon to enter outer space, it can observe outer space in advance to determine its future settlement. It includes collecting information about outer space for me in our collaboration.”

Noland Lee felt very at ease and natural in the presence of the Scroll Angel, perhaps because they might have once used the same body. He found the Angel’s personality and way of handling things very similar to his own.

The Scroll Angel was a being who liked to plan for various scenarios in advance, as did Noland Lee.

After a few days of interaction, Noland grew increasingly convinced of the Scroll Angel’s reliability.

The most evident demonstration was that the influx of letters from visitors within the maze space had greatly diminished, especially those containing provocations from Transcendent Wizards.

Noland Lee didn’t know how the Scroll Angel had accomplished this through the ‘Wizard’ Plane Core, but he couldn’t help but acknowledge their efficiency.

After much consideration, Noland Lee felt the second option was the best.

Find a place to settle down and then wipe out the Metal Creation Group in one fell swoop; that was the most prudent way.

If the Metal Creation Group were to find out that Noland Lee was targeting them, how could he catch them off guard?

Noland Lee nodded firmly and said,

“I’ve made up my mind, let’s go with the second option. The first option is risky; I fear the Ancestral Dragons might seize control of the Metallic Magic Puppets. Although the third option offers convenient transportation and ample resources, competing with the commercial groups would undoubtedly delay my plans. Overall, secretly developing a Non-Metallic Magic Puppet Army on an uninhabited planet seems best.”

The Scroll Angel asked,

“Then are you ready to set off?”

Noland Lee took a deep breath, his mind flashing through the days he had spent in the sub-dimensional plane, and although there was reluctance, it was time to leave.

“I am fully prepared, ready to leave at any time.”

“Then good, I will arrange the ritual array.”
