Chapter 1429: Ending 1: The Fire of No Regrets
“`
“I’m back, I’m really back,” he said.
Noland Lee clenched his fists and vigorously waved them through the air.
“Although I don’t know what you’ve experienced in the illusion that makes you this excited after breaking free, you’re right, you have indeed come back,” the voice of the Assassin Angel came through, calming Noland Lee down slightly:
“Your recovery rate is much faster than I expected, it seems the aftermath caused by the illusion is lighter than I had imagined.”
Noland Lee lifted his head, staring at the true form of the Assassin Angel for several seconds, then turned to look at the Order Plane’s Core avatar, as various thoughts whirred through his mind.
If everything continued to unfold like the failure he had experienced before, the Assassin Angel would be ambushed at the B-76 space station in just over ten days, sustaining serious injuries and disappearing without a trace.
The “Reality” planetosphere that the Order Plane’s Core controlled would also suffer a devastating attack from the Void Spears. All of its players would die, and he would end up just like the Assassin Angel.
Noland Lee wanted to change all of that.
He desperately sought the point where he could break through.
So where was this breakthrough point?
What was the process of the ambush on the Assassin Angel like?
And why did the “Reality” planetosphere, which the Order Plane’s Core had in its grasp, suddenly get discovered by the Void Spears?
Wasn’t that planet protected by a barrier created by Senati?
Could it be that there was a problem with the barrier protecting the planet…
Noland Lee’s gaze flickered, his eyes narrowing slightly.
He had a premonition that the key to breaking the deadlock must lie with Senati.
How could this Time and Evolution Angel, whose strength had greatly diminished, be completely unaware and unresponsive to the ambush of the Assassin Angel?
Take for instance the players currently attacking the Angel’s Voice Space Station.
It was only because of Senati’s advice that Noland Lee chose to ignite the Magic Bomb ahead of time, helping the players push the front line forward, while he himself arrived ahead of schedule at the vicinity of the brainstem core to rescue the Assassin Angel.
If Senati could foresee the general course of this battle, helping Noland Lee avoid the fatal “Space Erasure,” then why didn’t he foresee the ambush on the Assassin Angel?
Something was fishy.
Something was very fishy.
There definitely was a problem.
“Boom, boom, boom—”
The noise of combat echoed from the remote periphery of the space station, compressed into a deep roar by the interlacing metal corridors.
“Let’s change locations before we talk,” Noland Lee pressed down the questions in his heart and gestured outside with his hand.
The Order Plane’s Core avatar spoke:
