Ling Xi didn’t say a word and placed Ye Nuan on the bed. Then, he laid down beside her.

Ye Nuan frowned. ” Young Master Ling, this is a hospital bed. You can’t sleep here. ”

“It’s okay. I don’t mind.”

” But I do mind. Please be more self-aware and sleep in the room next door. ”

“What do you mind? Ye Nuan, you’re my woman now!” Ling Xi said confidently.

“Then should I remind Young Master Ling that when we were together, we agreed to only hold hands and not have any other intimate actions?”

“Is that so? But I remember that not only did we hold hands, we even kissed.”

Ye Nuan didn’t know how to communicate with him. She got up and prepared to get out of bed. ” Since you’re not going to sleep, you can sleep here. I’ll go over. ”

“Lie down!” Ling Xi pressed Ye Nuan onto the bed again and covered her with the blanket. ” Since we can only hold hands, then we’ll sleep holding hands. There’s no need for physical contact. It’s not against the original rules. ”

Ye Nuan was speechless. What kind of twisted logic was this?

Ye Nuan didn’t believe that a man and a woman could lie on the same bed and do nothing, not to mention that the other party was Ling Xi. Just like how he pretended to sleep and took advantage of her, she would never sleep with him for her own safety.

She sat up and looked at him. ” If that’s the case, go to sleep. I’m not sleepy. I’ll sit on the sofa for a while. ”

Ling Xi frowned. ” You just don’t want to sleep in the same bed as me? I’m here to accompany the bed. Do you have to make me sleep on the sofa?”

“There’s a lounge next door that’s dedicated to accompanying the bed.”

Ling Xi’s face darkened. What was the difference between the small bed and the sofa in that room?
