Chi Xia blamed herself after she found out the reason.

Initially, she thought that Su Chen was very angry after throwing such a big tantrum at her, but now she couldn’t get angry.

After class, Chi Xia rushed to the supermarket near the school to buy the ingredients for dinner before Su Chen came to pick her up.

Su Chen arrived outside the school and called Chi Xia. He heard some noise in the background and asked, “”Where are you?”

“I’m buying something at the supermarket. Are you walking this way?” Chi Xia asked softly.

Hearing the soft voice on the phone, Su Chen couldn’t help but smile. ” I’m already here. Where are you? I’ll go pick you up. ”

” I’ll be done soon, ” Chi Xia told him the address. ” Wait for me. ”

Su Chen didn’t say anything. He hung up the phone and drove to the supermarket next to the school.

Chi Xia thought that she had delayed her shopping and hung up the phone. She looked at the time and realized that Su Chen was early.

She had not finished shopping, so she could only ask Su Chen to wait outside for a while.

She was choosing the dishes in the tableware section and was struggling with the design. The dishes in Su Chen’s house were all white without any fancy designs. Back then, Su Chen had asked her to buy pots and pans. She had bought them casually on the internet as if she was doing a job.

She wanted to make a good dinner for him tonight, so beautiful cutlery was a must.

The designs were all very beautiful. She liked a pink floral set, but it looked a little too girly. Su Chen probably wouldn’t like it.

After choosing, she locked her eyes on two styles. Just as she was hesitating whether to choose the one she liked or the one that suited Su Chen better, she heard a voice beside her, “”I wonder which one to choose?”
