Su Chen had prepared many gifts for Chi Xia as usual and sent her home early in the morning.

On the way, Chi Xia looked at the man beside her and asked nonchalantly, “”If you send me home and come back, will you be late for dinner at your second uncle’s house?”

Su Chen looked ahead as he drove. He said in an indifferent tone, “”I won’t.”

Chi Xia looked at him. Even though he seemed indifferent, he was clearly unhappy.

She held his hand and asked with a smile,”Are you very reluctant to part with me?” You can’t leave me for even a moment now, can you?”

Almost at the same time as Chi Xia finished her sentence, Su Chen answered, “”Yes.”

But she still joked with him.

If she really wanted to spend New Year’s Day with him, she would not have waited until now to tell him about it.
