Even though Su Chen didn’t want to suspect Chi Xia, he couldn’t help but overthink.

He didn’t ask any more questions. He walked to the bed and patted her head. ” Get up. Breakfast is ready. ”

Chi Xia’s heart warmed. He woke up early in the morning to prepare breakfast.

This wasn’t a strange thing. He knew that she was too lazy to wake up early, so he took care of all the breakfast. After what happened last night, it was still the same today.

Chi Xia realized that she was still naked. She pulled the blanket to cover her body and looked up at him. ” You go out first. I’ll go out immediately after changing. ”

Su Chen glanced at Chi Xia, then turned around and left the bedroom.

Chi Xia was not used to him turning around and leaving so quickly. This was not his style. If it was in the past, he would not let her off so easily.

Perhaps he was in a bad mood because of work?

Chi Xia quickly put on her pajamas and walked out of the bedroom. Su Chen was setting the table with two bowls of porridge, fried eggs, bread, and fruit salad.

These simple foods were Su Chen’s daily breakfast. He would either make beef noodles or bread and milk porridge. Although they were very simple, she enjoyed them very much.

Chi Xia’s heart skipped a beat. She went forward and hugged Su Chen’s waist. Su Chen’s body stiffened when she suddenly hugged him. When he turned around and saw her, the corners of his mouth curled up.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, I just wanted to hug you.” Chi Xia smiled and let her go. She walked to the chair and sat down.

The two of them had a simple breakfast. Neither of them mentioned what happened last night, as if nothing had happened.
