That night, Chi Xia waited for Su Chen at home and unknowingly fell asleep on the sofa.

The next day, when she woke up on the sofa, the room was still empty. Su Chen had not returned the entire night!

Chi Xia was stunned for a while before she took out her phone. She did not see a call or message from Su Chen. He had not come home for the entire night and he did not tell her!

Chi Xia stared at her phone for a while before calling Su Chen.

The phone rang for a long time, but no one picked up. Chi Xia’s first reaction was to wonder if something had happened to Su Chen. Otherwise, he would not have not contacted her for a day and a night. She tried to contact him several times, but there was no response.

Just as Chi Xia was at a loss for what to do, she heard a series of noises at the door. She was stunned for a moment before she walked to the entrance and saw Su Chen opening the door.

She strode forward. ” You’re finally back. Why didn’t you come home last night? I called you but you didn’t pick up. Do you know how anxious I was?”

Su Chen glanced at Chi Xia coldly. ” Would you be anxious if I didn’t come back? Are you worried about me?”

“What do you mean?” Chi Xia frowned and realized that Su Chen’s expression was cold and his eyes were filled with mockery.

What was wrong with him?

Su Chen’s lips curled up coldly. He ignored Chi Xia and went straight into the bedroom.

Chi Xia froze on the spot. Su Chen’s sudden change caught her off guard.

She turned around and walked into the bedroom, only to see Su Chen packing his luggage.

She walked to Su Chen’s side and gently tugged at his sleeve. ” Su Chen, where are you going? ”

“Business trip,” Su Chen said coldly.
