Chapter 1650: Creating an Accident If There’s No Accident (2)

When Qiao Mu returned home with Chi Xia’s gift, Li Yan and Little Li Zhuo were waiting for her.

Li Yan sat on the sofa and looked at his tablet. Little Li Zhuo was lying on Li Yan’s lap, quietly playing with the Rubik’s cube.

Ever since Li Yan gave him a Rubik’s cube on his birthday, it had become his exclusive toy. He played with it almost all the time. Although his IQ was obviously higher than his peers when he was three years old, he still could not play with complicated toys like the Rubik’s cube well. Li Yan had said that as long as he could turn all the colors into one side, he would agree to one condition. This made Little Li Zhuo very motivated, as if he wanted to get his father’s approval.

Upon seeing Qiao Mu return, Little Li Zhuo immediately threw the Rubik’s cube to the side and pounced toward Qiao Mu.

“Mom, you’re back. Xiao Zhuo wants a hug.” As he spoke, Little Li Zhuo opened his arms and asked Qiao Mu to carry him.

Li Yan then stood up and glanced at Little Li Zhuo. Little Li Zhuo immediately shrank his head and said unwillingly, “”Let Daddy carry you first. Mommy is Daddy’s wife. I’m just a son.”

Qiao Mu was helpless. Li Yan’s father’s authority was vividly displayed in front of his son, especially when it came to hogging his wife. Sometimes, Qiao Mu could not stand him bullying her son and would criticize him in private. However, he would say in all seriousness that this was how he had been raised when he was young. This was the Li family’s way of education.

When Qiao Mu saw Li Yan walking over, she completely ignored him and directly carried her son. She smiled and asked, “”How’s Zhuo Rubik’s Cube?”

Little Li Zhuo pouted and frowned. He said in distress, “”It’s so difficult. Daddy solved it in a few moves, but why can’t I?”

” Xiao Zhuo is only three years old, ” Qiao Mu consoled. ” Daddy is almost forty. It’s normal that you can’t do it. ”

Li Yan, who had been ignored, said unhappily, “”I’m only 33 years old this year. There’s still a long way to go before I turn 40.”

“Isn’t she almost forty in her thirties?” Qiao Mu thought otherwise.
