Chapter 1827: He Likes Her?

Qiao Wei stayed at Shen Yi’s company for the entire afternoon.

To be precise, she slept for the entire afternoon and fell asleep on the sofa while playing.

The man did not call her either. When she opened her eyes, the sky had already darkened.

When Shen Yi saw that she had woken up, he handed her a glass of water. ” You really slept so defenselessly. Aren’t you worried? Why would I do that while you were sleeping? ”

Wei Qiao woke up with a blank mind and replied, “”What can you do to me? Barrister Shen, you definitely won’t do anything that violates the law!”

“Looks like you have quite the confidence in me.” Shen Yi chuckled. ” Did I give you the wrong impression that I’m not interested in you? ”

Wei Qiao was speechless.

She seemed to have trusted him a little too much.

In order to hide her uneasiness, she stood up and said, ” It’s already so late. I’m going back. ”

“I’ll send you after dinner. I’ve already ordered takeout.”

Wei Qiao touched it and felt a little hungry. Then, she sat down obediently.

Soon, the takeout arrived. After the two of them finished eating, Shen Yi drove Qiao Wei back to school.

The car was parked in the open-air parking lot outside the company. Qiao Wei followed behind Shen Yi as they walked out of the company building.

At this moment, the sound of a speeding motorcycle engine approached. Before Wei Qiao could look over, her wrist was suddenly grabbed and she was pulled to the side by a force. In the next second, a motorcycle sped past where she was standing just now.

She was shocked. When she came back to her senses, she realized that she was facing a firm chest and her waist was tightly wrapped by a pair of hands.

She was in Shen Yi’s arms!

“Are you alright?” A man’s voice sounded above her head.
