While Lu Bai was admiring him, Huo Yunting slammed the door shut.

Huo Yunting turned to look at Lu Zhaoyang, who already had a dress on and was walking toward him. “How did you get to know this weirdo? Look at how he wears in this weather!” Huo Yunting said.

“He is a typical super otaku, I am accompanying him to buy clothes today.” Lu Zhaoyang glanced at him up and down before turning and walked into the kitchen. “Do you have any idea what you are wearing while you criticize others?”

“I just got up. But he could be a bad guy.” Huo Yunting followed her. “What is his name?”

“Lu Bai.”

Huo Yunting walked back into the bedroom right away, picked up his mobile phone and called Huo Li. “Do a background check on a guy named Lu Bai, male, around 22 years of age, tall, fair-skinned, handsome, address is No 2501 Anning Neighborhood.”

Huo Yunting hung up. He was in a bad mood, especially when his woman was going shopping for clothes with another man and she never did that with him.

Lu Zhaoyang thought Huo Yunting must be going ape again. Huo Yunting wanted to tag along.

Since Lu Bai was present, there was no worry that people might mistake them for anything. So, she agreed.

Downstairs, Huo Yunting saw Lu Bai wearing a thin black T-shirt, dark blue shorts, and a pair of black flip-flops that looked like it was going to snap at any time.

“Sister, brother-in-law.” Lu Bai smiled and waved his hand at them.

This kid looked cute, but unfortunately, had some loose screws.

Huo Yunting glanced at Lu Zhaoyang, who smiled and waved back at Lu Bai; she had a bleeding heart, he thought.

“Don’t call him brother-in-law. Call him Brother Ting, just like others do.” Lu Zhaoyang reminded.

Lu Bai was a little confused. “Is he not your boyfriend?”

But he saw Huo Yunting answering the door in the morning, and he looked as if he had just woken up.

“No.”

“No.”

The two responded in unison.
