There was a tinge of regret in his voice but hidden were words that was a razor sharp warning that if the Madam insisted on a throwing tantrum, she can forget about attending.

Madam’s face turned from black to red as she smashed her walking stick against the ground.

“So you mean you’re disagreeing with it? Then I can only say I cannot do that. After so many years, I can do longer do Lu Zhaoyang wrong any longer.” Huo Yunting look down and his handsome eyes laid on her.

“So, whether you agree to it or not, the wedding will happen.”

Madam took in a deep breath but her shoulders suddenly sank. Now, her usual imposing vigor and stature was gone.

Her temper and assertiveness had been totally worn out by Huo Yunting’s determination.

“You really like her?”

“No, I love her.” Huo Yunting responded without any hesitation before smirking, “Grandma, me coming back this time around was just to inform you of that.”

The Madam clutched her chest and looked down slightly.

“Huo Zhenning! Won’t you bother about your son!” After running out of recourse, she could only shift her sight to her eldest son who had been keeping quiet.

Huo Zhenning had no intention to bother, nor he had any capability to do so. So he only asked, just for show, “Yunting, with your position now, you really don’t care how the outside world perceives you?”

Huo Yunting broke into a laughing fit, “I had already revealed everything yesterday, so what’s the point of how people look and perceives me? Not bothered.”
