Chapter 708: Sure Did His Homework Plotting This (1/2)
Lu Zhaoyang opened the window and clearly heard the questions thrown about by the crowd of reporters.
“Send someone over and chase them away.” Huo Yunting had no intention or mood to play around with the press.
Not even five minutes later, Huo Li’s men had arrived and cordoned off the reporters until all the cars had left.
“There’s probably more of them elsewhere,” Lu Zhaoyang looked at the frantic crowd and their aggression for a scoop looked like they wanted to tear the car window down.
“No problem.” Huo Yunting squinted. “This sort of third rate move to incite arguments, I’m not even bothered by it.”
“I am, and this will definitely blow up, not only it could ruin your good name, but also Thunderbolt’s”
She was wondering how Xiang Jinxi was so patient.
This was just too wicked!
Huo Yunting in the past had broken off relationship with the Huo family because of mother and even brought his late mother’s tablet to attend their wedding anniversary…
If you were to link all of this together, most people would think that Huo Yunting had forced her mother to her death.
The news of their marriage had only been released a few days back.
Was mother influenced by Xiang Jinxi?
But even that she did not need to put her life on the line!
Outside the funeral parlour, there was also a crowd of reporters waiting but Huo Li had already sent men to keep them away.
The press was in rancor and the scene was chaotic as they waited for Huo Yunting’s vehicle to drive in, as each outlet was trying to get the first scoop.
“Mr Huo, are the rumors true, that you had forced the death of your own mother-in-law?”
“Mr Huo, was it because of the grudge between your mother and your mother-in-law that you had prevented Mrs Huo from meeting her, until the point that she killed herself before your home?”
The reporters, even when kept a distance from the car, yelled as they tried to get an answer.
“You did not allow us to meet?” Lu Zhaoyang turned to him, “Was there such a thing?”
“I swear to the heavens, no.”
