When she was done talking, she felt his cold lips on the back of her hand.

Gu Jinzhi had planted a quick and gentle kiss on her hand.

Before she could protest, he let go of her hand.

“Wen He…” He smiled happily and said, “I’m going to sleep now.”

Gu Jinzhi closed his eyes and allowed the darkness to overcome him completely.

A short while later, the footsteps grew louder.

There was a commotion outside.

Then, Wen He heard someone moving the rocks away. As the rocks were gradually removed, sunlight finally shone into the car through the cracks.

She cried loudly in joy, “Huo Chen! I’m in here!”

“Wen He!”

Huo Chen low voice sounded anxious, but also greatly relieved.

“Don’t move, just wait inside.”

“Okay!”

Wen He suppressed her exhilaration and waited obediently. However, she could not help chattering excitedly to express her jubilance.

Fortunately, someone was there to catch her.

She took in his familiar scent and wanted to hug him, but her arms felt heavy as lead and would not obey her wish.
