Hoards of students arrived at the basketball court. The audience seats were fully occupied.

At the center of the court was Mo Ning in white shirt and tracksuit. She looked composed as usual.

Yu Hai and his gang studied their opponent with scorn. “I will hold back a little so that you won’t lose too badly.”

Mo Ning raised an eyebrow at the jab and put a chilly smile on her face.

“I won’t hold back so that you will lose very badly. Let me say this beforehand… I am very sorry.”

What an *ss, the match has not even started and yet he is so full of himself!

“You’re just faking it!”

“Mo Ning, don’t you think that your massive ego will weigh you down?”

“You talk big now, but wait till you lose and be humiliated!”

Mo Ning listened to their sarcastic rebukes and did not bother to explain herself. “You ready?”

“Bring it on!”

The referee, their gym teacher, blew the whistle.

“Begin!”

Both sides went for the ball.
