“Mo ning, no matter what, I hope you can talk to Huo Yunting first. If you insist on doing this, I will help you.”

Mo ning gave him a suspicious look.

“Why do I feel like you don’t want me to kill them?”

“Is there?” Yan Sinian said innocently. “That’s your illusion. ”

He had a vague guess in his mind, but he would not jump to conclusions without evidence. He would not say anything to mo ning either.

He stood up, patted her head, and smiled as usual.”You should rest first. I have something to deal with.”

“Yes.”

Suppressing the strange emotions in her heart, mo ning watched as Yan Sinian left the bedroom.

He went to the study room and called Yan Yi over.

Sitting on the sofa, he rested his chin on one hand and held a long cigarette between his slender fingers. He asked with interest,”Yanyi, I remember I asked you to investigate the Huo family, right?”

“Yes, I am.” Yan Yi nodded.

“Do you still remember Huo Yunting’s eldest daughter?”

“What?”

Yan Yi recalled,”I heard that Huo Yunting’s wife gave birth to twins. The younger daughter was Huo ran, and the elder daughter was in poor health when she was born. She was sent abroad to recuperate. It’s been almost nineteen years, and she has never come back once, nor has she appeared in public. Even I can’t find out anything about her.”

Yan Sinian gave him a sidelong glance and smiled.”Do you think that’s possible?”

Yan Yi hesitated.”Boss, what do you mean?”

“In this world, as long as a person has existed, it’s impossible to not have a single trace.”

It was just like how mo ning had used her brother’s identity. She might have been able to fool him for a while, but he would see through her sooner or later.

Yan Yi blinked.”Does that mean that miss Huo doesn’t exist?”

“No,” she said.
