Tian Long knew that the matter and secret about this egg are way bigger than he could imagine.

He asked himself this question as he stared at the so-called mystery pet egg.

He asked himself whether this purchase would be worth it or not since he doesn't even know what kind of creature will be born from the egg.

After a while, he then firmly made a decision.

”Ah what the hell! Since you came from the Apex System I'm sure that you're definitely out of the ordinary. I'll take a chance on you little guy.” decided Tian Long as he stared at the enigmatic egg.

After deciding that, he immediately bought the egg.

He then touched the smooth edges of the egg and gently spoke to it. ”You know, you were really expensive so once you hatch you better not disappoint me and be something good.”

”Alright then, how do I start nurturing this little guy...” muttered Tian Long as he contemplated on what to do since he really doesn't know how to start with this.

'Should I start feeding this little guy? Wait How would I even make it eat... Eh? Why's it suddenly glowing? Is it hungry?'

He was thinking to himself when the egg suddenly started glowing.

Tian Long paced back and forth as he wondered what to do.

”Oh right, I still have some King ranked beast meat in my inventory.” he said.

He hurriedly took out a good amount of ferocious beast meat and placed it in front of the large egg.

”Go on, start eating, it's very nutritious you know.” he said to the egg.

Silence.

There was no response from the egg as the beast meat simply lay there.

”Oh right, how can an egg eat this.” said Tian Long as he slapped himself.

As if insulted, the egg suddenly exuded a bright glow which lighted up the surroundings.

It was as if it was asking Tian Long how he could feed it with a mere meat of a demonic beast.

Tian Long looked at it with a wronged expression. ”Well, tell me what to do then since I really don't know what to do...”

A while later, he sat down cross-legged with a stumped expression on his face. As he was just about to go crazy he suddenly remembered that he had the Apex System.

'How could I forget about the system.' he slapped himself for not thinking properly and acting like an idiot.

”System, how do I start incubating and nurturing the mystery egg?” he asked.
