While the members of the Lin Family were welcoming the guests from other sects, clans, and organizations, Tian Long was browsing for a sword technique that's suitable for Jian Chen in the Apex store.
”Hmm, it seems that I haven't given a sword technique to that little brat. Let's see if I could buy anything right now.” He muttered as he looked for a good technique.

After a while, Tian Long was finally able to find a suitable sword technique for the little brat. He read its description and immediately bought it for 15,000 apex points.

Tian Long had a bitter smile on his face as he sighed. ”I just obtained 25,000 apex points from the reward and with the remaining 10,000 from the last shopping, the total is 35,000 points. But just buying a single technique already left my apex points with just about a half left.”
”Whatever, since apex points are earned to be used I shouldn't be a cheapskate.”
Tian Long called Jian Chen to his room. He said with a smug smile. ”Brat, since you've just broken through to the Energy Refining Realm, I'll reward you with a very strong sword technique. Do you want it?”
Jian Chen looked at him excitedly. ”Oh great, hurry and give it to me!”
Tian Long then thought for a moment on how he was going to transfer the technique. 'Shit, I totally forgot that I don't know how to transfer a technique from the system to someone else. System, are you able to transfer techniques to other people?'
The system's reply resounded in his mind.
[ Ding! There are plenty of ways for the host to transfer techniques to other people. In this current situation, the system recommends the host to pay 10 apex points to transfer the technique from the Apex Store to the person wholly. Transfering the technique through the system helps the person practice the technique slightly faster than normal. ]

'Oh! How neat, alright transfer it.'
[ Ding! Processing... Complete! The host only needs to point his finger at the person's forehead to transfer the technique. ]
Tian Long did what the system said and pointed at Jian Chen's forehead.
Jian Chen was confused at first about what his master was doing but soon his eyes were filled with amazement.
Jian Chen could ”see” a figure similar to his master performing the technique inside his mind. After a few seconds, the technique was completely engraved on Jian Chen's mind and he could practice it anytime.
Tian Long then told Jian Chen to ”look over” the {Sword Storm Barrage} first and try to comprehend it to level 2.
If other people heard what Tian Long said then they would look at him as if they were looking at an idiot. Since he just gave the technique to his disciple just a moment ago, it would be impossibly hard for his disciple to increase the technique's level within a short amount of time.
Of course, this is true, however, Tian Long had the Apex System and Jian Chen had a monstrous innate talent and also since the technique fitted Jian Chen well, he would be able to practice the technique faster. Therefore, it's possible.
Tian Long left Jian Chen's room and went back to his room as he started plotting.
”Hehe, since there's a gathering of powerful cultivators about to happen, this would be the perfect chance to increase my sect's fame and prestige.” He laughed maniacally.
”Since Emperor Transformation cultivators are basically weaklings in front of me, only those Life and Death Realm ones would be able to fight me. Of course, they have to be at least mid or late stage since I could demolish an initial stage Life and Death Realm cultivator.”
”Also I highly doubt that those undying False God Realm cultivators would make a move since they basically separate themselves from worldly affairs.”
(Note: He calls them undying since False God Realm cultivators have 1 billion+ years lifespan. Check out the glossary if you don't remember the lifespan of cultivators.)

There were so many seats that you could barely count them all, there were also a lot of cultivators from powerful sects, royal and imperial families, supreme clans and families, organizations and so on, chatting and interacting with each other.
(Note: Families and Clans are basically the same so you would see me use them interchangeably throughout the novel.)
Obviously, most of them were only putting on a facade as they probably hate each other to their very bones.
