17 Tribulation Lightnings (1/2)

As Tian Long got closer and closer to the ancestral grounds, he couldn't help but get excited. 'Ah yes, the more bolts of tribulation lightnings there are the better, I just hope that the {Heavenly Lightning Body Refinement Method} would at least reach level 3 after this event.'

The roars of the thunder and lightning were becoming more and more deafening as he reached closer to the ancestral grounds. It was as if the heavens were preparing to smite all living things in this world.

Lin Family Ancestral Grounds.

Lin Zhou had a fatigued, yet fearless expression as he stared at the dark, ominous sky. ”If only I wasn't fatally injured 10 years ago during that battle, I'm sure that I would be able to deal with these lightnings and break through to the False God Realm. You old bastards, if I survive this ordeal then I'll make sure to get my revenge.” He sighed with a helpless and angry expression

”It looks like the Lin Family would have a hard time in the future.” He muttered to himself with a sorrow voice.

The flashes of lightning were so overbearing that it was as if the world was suffering the wrath of the heavens as they prepared to strike down this cultivator for defying its will.

(Note: Remember that the path of cultivation is going against the heavens itself.)

As the tribulation of lightning was about to descend, a young man with a godlike aura appeared in the sky. The young man seemed to be around 18-20 years old as he was donned on a celestial-looking snow white robe and a masquerade-looking mask on his face.

Lin Zhou was startled as he looked at the young man's sudden appearance as he descended in front of him.

The young man was obviously Tian Long, with around 70% Dragon Force activated, he descended like an immortal towards Lin Zhou and spoke.

”Greetings old man Lin, this one's name is Tian Long and was invited by Lin Hui Yin and the Lin Family to assist you during the tribulation of lightning.” Tian Long said with a calm, strong voice.

Lin Zhou was shocked when he heard that. ”Young friend Tian, are you sure of doing this? You have to know that this tribulation is basically from the heavenly lightning itself. I'm not worried about myself but such a young yet already a strong person like you...”

Tian Long interrupted him. ”Don't worry about that as I have a body refinement method which uses lightning to strengthen my body, and since it's heavenly lightning it would be even better. I just wish that there would be enough for me to use.”

At this time, the Lin Hui Yin, Lin Zhenin, Meng Wu and the other family members arrived as well. Since Lin Zhenin already told them what was going to happen, the others prepared themselves as they breathed nervously.

Before they could even start talking, the dark skies roared as a bolt of lightning was preparing to strike.

Tian Long turned around and said to the others. ”You guys just stay back, this won't take long.” After saying that, he looked at Lin Zhou while Lin Zhou looked at him.

They nodded at each other as both of them had a tacit understanding. Lin Zhou stepped backward as well to give Tian Long space.

Tian Long took out his Golden Dragon Spear as he wanted it to be baptized by the heavenly lightning as well to improve it further, and after stabbing it into the ground he took off his mask a second before the lightning descended.

Everyone in the area was shocked when Tian Long took out a high-grade supreme-ranked spear but they were really stunned speechless when their eyes landed on Tian Long's perfectly sculpted face.

Lin Hui Yin was dumbfounded and her jaws dropped as she stared at that out-of-this-world perfect face. Lin Zhou, Lin Zhenin, Meng Wu and the other Lin Family members were stunned senseless when they saw Tian Long's exceedingly handsome face.

The men's eyes reddened with envy while all the women let out a cry as their eyes flashed with desire and obsession.

However, a second after that, a bolt of lightning descended upon Tian Long who took out the {True Lightning Grass} to attract its aggro to him.

(Note: Basically he attracts the lightning's strike towards him instead of Lin Zhou by using the grass.)

The first wave of the tribulation lightning descended towards Tian Long with an unstoppable might intending to render him into ashes. It was as if the Lightning God itself let out a strike coming from the Ninth Heaven.

Everyone in the area had an ashen expression as they watched the tribulation descend.

Lin Hui Yin and Jian Chen had an anxious expression on their face while Lin Zhou and Lin Zhenin had a serious and grave expression on their faces.

Lin Zhou said solemnly. ”Tribulations will always be stronger when there are outsiders trying to interfere. This tribulation could be said to be 3 times stronger than what I was supposed to experience.”

However, Tian Long had a smile on his face as he spread out his hands and looked towards the sky. ”Come and show me how strong a heavenly tribulation really is!”

As if answering to his desire, the lightning struck him with a ferocious strength which intimidated everyone in the place.

”Watch out master!” cried Jian Chen anxiously

”Master Tian be careful!” shouted Lin Hui Yin.

”Master Tian!

”Young friend Tian!”

Tian Long could hear all kinds of cries and shouts as the lightning struck him.

He didn't even react or move once as flashes of lightning covered his body. This strike, for him, was so weak that he couldn't even feel it hit him.
