10 Bidding War (1/2)
Tian Long smiled as he could already imagine the amount of money he could make from this single auction.
As soon as the auction gates opened, various famous families and sects from within and outside the city such as the Hou Family, Geng Family, Song Family, Blue Mountain Sect, Crimson Tiger Sect, and so on, could be seen walking to their respective seats.
After a while, when everyone finished looking for their seats, the auctioneer stepped forward in the stage and said. ”Good morning and welcome to everyone to this special occasion of ours. I shan't say any irrelevant stuff, therefore, let us officially start the auction!”
He continued with a loud voice. ”The first item of the day is the high-rank Spirit grade {Silver-Frost Saber}, the bidding will start at 50,000 gold coins.”
”55,000 gold coins.” After he finished, a person within the earth-rank seats immediately shouted.
”60,000 gold coins.” Another person followed up.
”70,000 gold coins, don't even bid if y'all don't have any money!” shouted someone aggressively.
”80,000 gold coins! Heh spouting such nonsense, why don't you bid higher then.” someone else replied.
”95,000”
”120,000”

After a long while, the saber was finally won by someone with a bid of 250,000 gold coins.
The auctioneer continued on. ”The next item is a mid-rank Earth grade martial art skill {Fiery Blazing Fists}, the bidding will start at 800,000 gold coins.”
Now it was the turn of the bidders in the Sky-ranked seats.
”1,000,000 gold coins!” a middle-aged man with fancy clothes shouted.
”1,400,000 gold coins.”another middle-aged man with a long beard said with a smirk.
”2,000,000 gold coins!”
”2.5 million!”
”3.5 million!”

Both of them glared at each other with a smile yet not a smile on their faces.
”4 million.”

The bidding continued until an old-woman with a noble aura around her won the martial skill for 7,000,000 gold coins. Both the middle-aged men at the start, sat down with dejected expressions as they looked towards the old woman who won the martial skill.
The next few items were around high Earth grades to mid King grade items. There was even a supreme king grade spear that was auctioned and was won by a young woman for 6,000 platinum coins. (Note: 6,000 plat coins = 60,000,000 gold coins. But platinum is more of a luxurious currency obviously.)
Tian Long didn't even glance at those items that were auctioned, even the supreme king grade spear wasn't of any importance to him as it wasn't even 1% of the Golden Dragon Spear's worth. He thought 'That reminds me, it seems that I need to start upgrading my spear's grade'. He then checked its status.

After thinking for a while, a servant from the auction house reminded him that his pill will be the next item that would be auctioned.
Tian Long then took a look at the people in the Moon-ranked seats and the few ones at the Sun-ranked seats.
He smiled as he thought. 'Finally! I wonder how much I'll be able to earn from this one auction. Hmm in the future it seems that I need to visit higher ranked cities and sell an even higher ranked pill or equipment there...'
”And finally, the moment we've all been waiting for, The supreme-rank Level 5 pill {Tranquill Heart Pill} is here. The bidding will start at a minimum 200,000 platinum coins. The bidding will start now.” The auctioneer said with pride as he took out a jade bottle with a white pill inside which was emitting a white cloudy aura.
The gazes of the everyone within the moon and sun ranked seats immediately sharpened upon hearing the auctioneer's words. They all focused their attention on the jade bottle in the stand which they immediately confirmed to be an authentic supreme-rank level 5 pill.
Everyone gasped in astonishment when they landed their eyes on the {Tranquil Heart Pill}, however, they were shocked even more when they heard the price of the pill.
200,000 platinum coins could be said to be 2,000,000,000 gold coins. It was a staggering amount which even some low-rank noble families in the city couldn't take out even if they sold everything they had. (Note: Spirit coins obviously have way more rare than platinum so they use platinum and gold coins instead of Spirit ones for reference.)
