In a huge living room with a very modern decoration, a sublime blonde woman of about thirty-five years old with her eyes closed, lying on a large white leather sofa, takes advantage of her free time to laze around at home. In front of her, Jessica, who has just sat on an armchair matching the sofa, looks at the woman with expectation and impatience. When the beautiful woman slowly opens her eyes, she reveals two sublime emeralds of unparalleled purity, whose intense brilliance seems to pierce anyone facing her.

”I phoned your school. Your boyfriend's class transfer is only a matter of hours. By the way, we have to be sincere with each other, darling. You already know my point of view on the matter, but I must remind you so that there is no misunderstanding. As you know, I don't care much about who your boyfriend is, or his pedigree. I'm not your father and I have no problem with him coming from the lower classes until you catch him in a gutter. However, and you have to get it in your head, I can't remind you enough that I forbid you to bring a black, Indian, Latino or any other exotic food into my house. It is already too painful for me to recruit white servants to see my daughter clutter me with a marmoset that is unpleasant to me. My play is said, so why did you come to disturb me? Before you answer, give me my tray.”

Jessica and her mother do not get along, they have never agreed on anything, yet when Jessica's eyes are on what her mother calls her tray, Jessica's heart suffers. Knowing that if she doesn't do this chore, a servant will do it, Jessica gets up and grabs the damn tray. Without a word, she walks to her mother, then puts the object on the small table.

”Maria, give me my tray. My dear daughter is too lazy to reach out.”

After the maid has gently placed the tray on the sofa in front of her mother, Jessica watches her mother open a small silver container into which she dips, which could look like a mini dice to sew. In a very relaxed way, her mother brings this mini dice to sew in front of her left nostril, her index finger of her right hand presses on her right nostril, then she deeply inspires its contents. Jessica does not understand the expression of well-being that she can currently read on her mother's face and withdraws from the room without having spoken a word.

Her life has always looked like this. Her father spends 11 months out of 12 at the office or travelling around the world and her mother... However, her parents offer her everything she wants, meet all her needs and requirements and she cannot say that she feels unhappy or sad about this kind of lonely life. Until she was 10, Jessica had a nanny and a private tutor. Being too old to be supervised by these two people, she decided that enough was enough and sent them back on a whim, subsequently enjoying total freedom.

Lost in the huge central hall of this huge house that she hates more than anything, always followed by her four molosses in black clothes who never leave her except when she manages to distract them, she sighs before heading for the garage.

In tears, leaning against a tree probably a hundred years old, isolated in a forest he knows only too well, Adam blames himself for his pretentious and egotistical behaviour that hurt his mother so much. By dint of crying, an unpleasant hiccup he can't get rid of caused him 2 tongue bites while he was speaking alone to blame himself for his vile, heartless foolish action. Adam is getting more and more lost. What must he do to live his life? When he is sad and his life is bitter, his mother is happy, but when his life is coloured and he laughs, his mother blames him. He really doesn't know anymore, he mixes everything up and after this outpouring of sadness, he falls asleep without even realizing it.

At home, on either side of the dining room table, 2 women face each other. With their faces tense, their teeth clenched, their eyes full of anger, they both adopt the same behaviour towards their opponent.

”You're old and yet you're just a pathetic, childish, jealous kid. When I spoke to Adam on the phone 15 minutes ago, his distress broke my heart. How can you as a mother do this to your son. You say you love him so prove it instead to playing the little girls whose doll have been stolen.”
